After 60 years of matrimony, roughly divided into 3 marriages of 20 years apiece, one doesn’t have to be too bright stand in awe of the wisdom about straight male/female relationships.

This is not a research treatise designed to qualify this author and his unnamed co-author. To that i can shout only “Thanks”.

They segment the book’s multiple short chapters into points to make with convincing stories and like direct mail appeal letters they don’t mind being at times replitious just so YOU get it.

That is all of YOU of every age, from testosterone empowered, penus driven teen to trophy wife chasing guy in the usual mid life crisis to old boys trying to pretend you are still able to attact and conquer.

On this latter point, conquest is really being about to make things work between you and the object of your affection, which of course does not always mean marriage. There are certainly constructive partings and divorces after which you can, if you follow these authors’ advice, come out smarter, better and less poor!

I love their copious use of quotes at the chapter beginnings too.

Hey, I love this book and know a bunch of men of all ages who could benefit from its wisdom, so I did the most appreciated thing an author can wish for and bought 5 copies for Christmas presents.
