(Before It's News)

LinkedIn has released its list for the most popular companies with new university graduates in the United States. Not surprisingly, Amazon made the top 10 list. Amazon was No. 4 on the list followed by Oracle in the No. 5 spot and Accenture at No. 6.

Perhaps a bit of a surprise was that a number of other big tech names — like Google, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft were not on the list.

The most popular companies with recent graduates were:

  1. Deloitte
  2. EY
  3. OracleLogoPwC
  4. Amazon
  5. Oracle
  6. Accenture
  7. Target
  8. JPMorgan Chase
  9. Insight Global
  10. Lockheed Martin

LinkedIn also released the average salaries for the 10 most popular entry-level jobs. They are:

  1. Account Manager – $50,000
  2. Software engineer – $80,000
  3. Business analyst – $59,000
  4. Customer service representative – $35,000
  5. Administrative assistant – $39,500
  6. Recruiter – $39,200
  7. Consultant – $73,000
  8. Investment Banking Analyst – $85,000
  9. Graphic Designer – $36,000
  10. Staff Accountant – $50,000

To compile the list, LinkedIn used the profile data for the “millions” of U.S. students who use LinkedIn.
