Businesses and brands can now use Sponsored InMail messages via LinkedIn’s Campaign Manager to engage their target audience.

Those with advertising accounts on LinkedIn can create and manage their Sponsored InMail campaigns, Sponsored Content and Text Ads, directly through Campaign Manager.

“One of the biggest challenges B2B marketers face is delivering a relevant and engaging ad experience to the right person, at scale,” LinkedIn product manager Vasudha ,in a blog post.

“That’s why today we’re excited to announce that Sponsored InMail is joining the growing suite of self-serve LinkedIn products available through LinkedIn’s Campaign Manager. With Sponsored InMail you can engage your target audiences in a personalized, direct and meaningful way.”

LinkedIn Sponsored InMail enables you to effortlessly create pertinent messages without being constrained by a character limit. A “persistent” call-to-action (CTA) button on mobile and desktop, meanwhile, helps with generating leads while responsive design makes your message work on any screen, no matter the size.

Another benefit, Mithal said, is the real-time delivery, which ensures Sponsored InMail messages are only delivered when members are active on LinkedIn. There are limits in place that determine how often LinkedIn members can receive such messages.

“Our aim is to empower you to use the full range of LinkedIn advertising products to optimize your marketing mix and effectively reach your goals,” Mithal said. “The availability of Sponsored InMail to all marketers puts us further along on our journey to bring the power of LinkedIn’s full suite of ad products together to allow you the greatest flexibility and control.”

To give Sponsored InMail a try, you must log into your LinkedIn Campaign Manager account. Open your Ad Account and then click ‘Create campaign.’ Then select ‘Sponsored InMail’ to start writing a message. Next, choose your target audiences (from 16 different criteria), set your campaign budget goals and you are ready to launch.
