CFO Strategic Partners adds Andrea Bohr, CPA, CGMA, CCE, to the team as its newest chief financial officer.

Bohr brings years of experience from the engineering industry. She excels in translating ideas into strategic and tactical action plans, while quickly adapting to the changing competitive landscape.

She is coming to CFO Strategic Partners from Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI), a 400-person privately held civil engineering firm located in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she served as chief financial officer. Bohr helped achieve WGI’s growth strategy, resulting in nearly a 40 percent increase in size over a two-year period through acquisitions, including the acquisition of Carl Walker, Inc. The firm also expanded its operations into five additional states during that time. Other notable companies she’s worked for include: DRMP, Inc., BellSouth Telecommunications (now AT&T Southeast) and Ernst & Young (now EY).

“My goal is to help organizations balance the building blocks of their financial structure to align with their organizational goals,” says Bohr. “When companies achieve organizational and financial success, companies thrive and employees engage. Being a part of making this happen is the greatest reward of all.”

Shannon Carbone, CEO and founder of CFO Strategic Partners, noted Bohr is a dynamic addition to the team.

“We thrive because of the collective strength of our team and proudly call it, ‘the power of many,’’’ Carbone noted. “Bohr’s deep experience in top-notch public accounting and her previous CFO leadership positions with major engineering firms is a huge addition. She has the experience needed to take her clients to the next level.”

Bohr has the ability to see a story in a company’s financial analytics. After listening to the company and reviewing the analytics, she can develop an effective solution, implement it and get positive results. Bohr’s talent is recognizable throughout the country and was recently featured in South Florida Business Journal’s CFO Roundtable in December 2017.

Bohr earned a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Tulsa and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Missouri Western State College. She’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Her certifications include: Certified Public Accountant (licensed Florida CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant and Certified Credit Executive.
