“Interfaith dialogue is something that China, which will have the world’s largest Christian population in 20 years, lives with every day,” said Harvey Cox during the presentation at the city’s Jesuit Gregorian University.

I have a lot of chinese students at my college and most of them go to church. The churches here provide them with a lot of services that the college doesn’t, such as transportation. I’ve noticed that most rich chinese have sent their children to western schools, so the youth of china and most of their future leadership will have at least experienced western culture and ideas. I tutor in our business school and I enjoy talking to them to get a better idea of their lives here.
Who would have thought that China would have the largest Christian population? And, adding Russia to the list then it seems that the religion is still growing except in Africa where Islam is replacing the Christian missionaries.
That’s just wishful thinking. Anyone can claim their religion is gaining record breaking converts. For example, I invent a religion. Next year I gain 1 follower, I can now claim my religion has had a 100% conversion rate.
Actually Iran has the fastest growing Christian converts. Not because they like Christianity over Islam, but as a protest to the brutal draconian Islamic dictator that America and France set them up with, to destroy the British monopoly on Iran’s oil.
It also proves that Christianity is nothing but a political dictatorship, because only politics uses or needs a consensus to operate. So anyone who harps on about how popular their belief is, are doing so for political reasons.
