North Korean detainee reunites with family in Ohio
An American arrested and held for nearly six months in North Korea for leaving a Bible at a nightclub has returned to Ohio today to tears of joy and hugs from his wife and surprised children.
A plane carrying Jeffrey Fowle landed Wednesday morning at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, where he was reunited with his family.

Russia and Ukraine fail to reach an agreement on gas again
Russia and Ukraine failed to reach an agreement on gas supplies and said they will meet again in Brussels next week. Following the talks, which widely expected to produce a final agreement, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Moscow needed more assurances from Kiev on how it would pay its multi-billion dollar gas bills. Syria claims it destroyed jets seized by IS
The Syrian air force has destroyed two of three jets seized and reportedly test flown over Aleppo by the Islamic State group last week.
Omran al-Zoubi told Syrian TV late that Syrian aircraft bombed the jets as they were landing at Jarrah airbase in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province. He said the militants were able to hide a third jet, which the Syrian air force is now searching for.
