A New York City police officer suffered a serious head wound from an attack by a hatchet swinging man, yesterday is in critical but stable condition.
Another officer was hit in the back of the head is also in stable condition.
The attacker was shot and killed by police.

Canadian shooting suspect found refuge in homeless shelter

WHO announces 1 million Ebola vaccines
