As I look back on this week, I see a theme that runs through it – our sinfulness. We have made compromises on the truth. We have compromised our morality. And, we have chosen pastors who do the same.
And, when that happens, God sends strong delusions among us:
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
– 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
The word for ‘damned’ is the Greek word, krithosin – or, should be judged. And, THAT is what is happening right now. We are being judged by God.

We have been given a strong delusion, and we will not be free of that delusion if we do not choose the truth – and, if we enjoy the unrighteousness of others. We will not be freed from our normalcy bias. We will continue to be lied to by the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird Mainstream Media. We will be subject to the evils of our intelligence services. We will have pastors who are silent on the truth. And, we will suffer plague after plague like Ebola.
We and our churches will be subjected to all of that, as long as we tolerate sin in our lives and sin in our churches.

Getting people to wake up to what is really happening is an amazing challenge. I’ve been trying to do that, in one form or another, for almost twenty years. However, even I did not truly begin to understand what was going on until God shook me awake in 2011.
So, when I see someone else stuck firmly in a normalcy bias. All that I really can do is offer a few bits of incontrovertible evidence and a prayer that God will do what He did to me – shake ‘em awake.
Unfortunately, this means that God will need to knock the other person down, which is a really hard process to go through. So, you’ll need to stick around to help pick up the pieces.

TUESDAY – The CIA at the Heart of Your Normalcy Bias

The Central Intelligence Agency – or, CIA – is one of the most evil organizations on the planet. Not everyone in the CIA is evil. In fact, at the lowest levels, there are a lot of good people working for that foul organization. But, the organization itself is without a shred of morality, and owes allegiance to the only god they know – power.
I didn’t always think like that. But, that was before I saw the dark evil at the heart of the CIA – and their operations against the American people. And, those operations are part of why it is so hard to chip away at the normalcy bias that I talked about yesterday.

WEDNESDAY – How the CIA Became Evil

As I said yesterday, I didn’t always see the CIA as evil. In fact, I usually thought of it as a pretty cool organization. But, that was before the evidence started piling up that there was something dreadfully wrong with them.
Unfortunately, part of the problem lies in the basic fact of how such organizations are created and organized. Such organizations are ALWAYS going to become evil, if they aren’t managed properly. In fact, I’m not even sure that it was ever possible to set up and manage the CIA properly.
But, worrying over what-might-have-beens ultimately doesn’t solve the problem that lies at our door.

When I start an article, I don’t always know how it will end, and yesterday was a prime example of that. I started out by talking about how the CIA became evil, and ended up talking about why everything is a mess:

We have chosen pastors that will scratch our itching ears (2 Timothy 4:3). And, our pastors have chosen the way of cowardice, instead of truth.

FRIDAY – Ebola – Next Wave, Incoming

We’ve had a pause in the Ebola infection rate, and everyone has breathed a sigh of relief and gone back to what they were doing.
It’s a nice feeling, right?
Of course, it’s too bad that feelings don’t matter, because pandemics come in waves, and each successive wave gets bigger and bigger – until it burns out.
However, burn-out only happens when enough people have died, so that there aren’t any more hosts for the pandemic to infect.
Do you want to wait around for ‘burn-out’ to happen?
Right. You aren’t insane.
Unfortunately, the rest of the world isn’t so lucky.

We are born with inherited sin, and when you look at the definition of sin, missing the mark, it’s no wonder we continue to sin in many other ways. God has given us free will, rather than keep us under the “law” that He gave Moses. That law was ended at His son Jesus’ death, and free will began for those who follow the “one true faith” that Jesus taught before he was killed. Adhering to religion is sinning at it’s finest. Jesus taught us that all religion is false and in opposition to his Father. John, in the book Revelation to John, admonished all Christians (not those of Christendom, religions CLAIMING falsely to be Christian) to flee from her (he called all religion Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion) unless you want to share in her plagues and punishments. So, of course sin is running rampant. Most of the world (the people living on Earth) adhere to one religion or another. All of those religions, being false, teach something different from all the other religions. Religion is, after all, the teaching about God the Almighty, things that DIFFER in any way from what God teaches about Himself. All religion is wrong. Not one teaches accurately what God teaches us. Not one religion teaches us to do the entire will of God, leaving NOTHING out. All religion whores with governments, blesses wars, blesses troops, blesses political parties, and so on. Jesus taught to be “no part of the world”, which includes politics, war, government, and so on, when speaking to the true Christians of his time on Earth, and those that would follow.
The Mosaic Law was ended, Emery, where do you get such nonsense from? Don’t tell me: “independent scholars”, innit? Coincidentally, or not, the sabatarians claim the same thing and they are welcome to join this debate.
Matthew 5:18… Heaven and Earth haven’t passed so how could the Law be done away with?
Matthew 5:17… the Law was exemplified, not abolished.
With the sacrifice of Messiah Yehoshua we are absolved of the earthly penalty for our sins and the need for animal sacrifices to atone for them period. The whole of the Law stands even though these two requirements have been fulfilled.
And about this freewill thing-a-me-bob: we only have free will up to the point where we accept Jesus as Savior, there is no freewill for the Faithful only Yahweh’s will.
I get it from the scriptures, where I get all such information. It was ended when Jesus’ life was ended. It was symbolically, also, nailed to the torture stake upon which he was killed. The law was not exemplified, it was fulfilled. The covenant that Jesus began the night before his death replaced the law. That new covenant is where free will was given to us, instead of the 600 laws from the law covenant God made with Moses. Jesus sacrifice did not absolve us of our sins, it allowed us to be absolved, provided we repented and asked God for forgiveness. The law is there now only to show us God’s principles and behavior he wants us to adhere to. It is there for our learning now. It shows us what a large part of God’s will is, so that we may follow it. We are not required to do so now, but failure to do so means judgement of destruction. We have the choice, where as in the law covenant, we did not. You seem to adhere to what religion (man) says, and not to what God teaches. Why is that? Believing man over God is the same as saying that man is more correct than God, which is impossible. Flee from religion as Revelation to John admonishes. That includes any translation created by or suggest by any religion or any man. Only the accurate translation of God’s word is of benefit to us, not any translation that contains errors, as almost all of them do. Use your head and follow God and not man or religion, as all religion is called false in the scriptures. They scriptures also tell us that man is incapable of even directing his own steps.
On the one hand we have your opinion, Emery, and on the other we have the words of Yeshua. Matthew 5:17&18 reads as follows…
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
… King Jesus tells us, not once but twice, then to reinforce this, critically important concept, He tells us how we can be certain to know when the Law of the Torah has past. I’m no rocket scientist but i can tell that the earth is still here. What did i miss?
I know i’m not the only one to spot your obvious contradiction, Emery. You say…

That’s not contradiction. We have the choice to do God’s will. The ended law covenant is for us now to use as examples of God’s requirements. When the law was in force, failure to adhere to it meant death, usually by stoning. Today, under free will, failure to do so, means death during the final battle. We have the choice to follow God, or to not follow Him. It is, therefore, our choice to survive Armageddon by doing God’s will, completely, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have a choice we can make to not do God’s will, and to be destroyed in the coming judgement called Armageddon. No contradiction. The scriptures contain absolutely no contradictions, and God cannot lie. Your claiming He contradicts Himself is absurd.
Law Covenant. The Law covenant between Jehovah and the nation of natural Israel was made in the third month after their leaving Egypt, in 1513 B.C.E. (Ex 19:1) It was a national covenant. One born a natural Israelite was, by birth, in the Law covenant and was thus in this special relationship with Jehovah. The Law was in the form of a code, arranged in an orderly way, its statutes grouped together. The Law, transmitted through angels by the hand of a mediator, Moses, was made operative by a sacrifice of animals (in the place of Moses, the mediator, or “covenanter”) at Mount Sinai. (Ga 3:19; Heb 2:2; 9:16-20) At that time Moses sprinkled half the blood of the sacrificed animals on the altar, then he read the book of the covenant to the people, who agreed to be obedient. Afterward he sprinkled the blood upon the book and upon the people. (Ex 24:3-8) Under the Law, a priesthood was established in the house of Aaron, of the family of Kohath of the tribe of Levi. (Nu 3:1-3, 10) The high priesthood passed by descent from Aaron to his sons, Eleazar succeeding Aaron, Phinehas succeeding Eleazar, and so forth.—Nu 20:25-28; Jos 24:33; Jg 20:27, 28.
The terms of the Law covenant were that if the Israelites kept the covenant they would be a people for the name of Jehovah, a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, with His blessing (Ex 19:5, 6; De 28:1-14); if they violated the covenant, they would be cursed. (De 28:15-68) Its purposes were: to make transgressions manifest (Ga 3:19); to lead the Jews to Christ (Ga 3:24); to serve for a shadow of the good things to come (Heb 10:1; Col 2:17); to protect the Jews from false, pagan religion and preserve the true worship of Jehovah; to protect the line of the seed of promise. Added to the covenant with Abraham (Ga 3:17-19), it organized the natural seed-nation of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob.
The Law covenant extended benefits to others not of natural Israel, for they could become proselytes, getting circumcised, and could receive many of the Law’s benefits.—Ex 12:48, 49.
How did the Law covenant become “obsolete”?
However, the Law covenant became in a sense “obsolete” when God announced by means of the prophet Jeremiah that there would be a new covenant. (Jer 31:31-34; Heb 8:13) In 33 C.E. the Law covenant was canceled on the basis of Christ’s death on the torture stake (Col 2:14), the new covenant replacing it.—Heb 7:12; 9:15; Ac 2:1-4.
New Covenant. Jehovah foretold the new covenant by the prophet Jeremiah in the seventh century B.C.E., stating that it would not be like the Law covenant, which Israel broke. (Jer 31:31-34) On the night before his death, Nisan 14, 33 C.E., when he established the celebration of the Lord’s Evening Meal, Jesus Christ announced the new covenant, to be validated by his sacrifice. (Lu 22:20) On the 50th day from his resurrection and 10 days after he had ascended to his Father, he poured out the holy spirit, which he had received from Jehovah, on his disciples gathered in an upper room in Jerusalem.—Ac 2:1-4, 17, 33; 2Co 3:6, 8, 9; Heb 2:3, 4.
The parties to the new covenant are Jehovah, on one side, and “the Israel of God,” the spirit-begotten ones in union with Christ, making up his congregation or body, on the other side. (Heb 8:10; 12:22-24; Ga 6:15, 16; 3:26-28; Ro 2:28, 29) The new covenant is made operative by the shed blood (the sacrifice of the human life) of Jesus Christ, the value of which was presented to Jehovah after Jesus’ ascension to heaven. (Mt 26:28) When one is selected by God for the heavenly calling (Heb 3:1), God brings that one into His covenant over Christ’s sacrifice. (Ps 50:5; Heb 9:14, 15, 26) Jesus Christ is the Mediator of the new covenant (Heb 8:6; 9:15) and is the primary Seed of Abraham. (Ga 3:16) By means of Jesus’ mediatorship of the new covenant, he assists those in the covenant to become part of the real seed of Abraham (Heb 2:16; Ga 3:29) through forgiveness of their sins. Jehovah declares them righteous.—Ro 5:1, 2; 8:33; Heb 10:16, 17.
These spirit-begotten, anointed brothers of Christ become underpriests of the High Priest, “a royal priesthood.” (1Pe 2:9; Re 5:9, 10; 20:6) These do a priestly work, a “public service” (Php 2:17), and are called “ministers of a new covenant.” (2Co 3:6) These called ones must follow Christ’s steps closely, faithfully, until laying down their lives in death; Jehovah will then make them a kingdom of priests, making them sharers in divine nature, and will reward them with immortality and incorruption as joint heirs in the heavens with Christ. (1Pe 2:21; Ro 6:3, 4; 1Co 15:53; 1Pe 1:4; 2Pe 1:4) The purpose of the covenant is to take out a people for Jehovah’s name as a part of Abraham’s “seed.” (Ac 15:14) They become the “bride” of Christ, and are the body of persons whom Christ takes into a covenant for the Kingdom, to rule with Him. (Joh 3:29; 2Co 11:2; Re 21:9; Lu 22:29; Re 1:4-6; 5:9, 10; 20:6) The purpose of the new covenant requires that it continue in operation until all of the “Israel of God” are resurrected to immortality in the heavens.

Listening to our hearts and minds whereupon the two great commandments were writ. This contract will not expire until the chosen are given eternity, well after His triumphant return.
So to be clear: i am not saying that we are saved by observance to the Law. Pre crucifixion saved equated to not being stoned to death, in my opinion. You are talking about Salvation which is something else altogether.

Your argument fails because of the assumption that you glibly gloss over. Yes: a new covenant but where does it say that the old one was done away with?

The Old Covenant is a physical contract for a physical people with a physical law and physical promises.
The New Covenant is a spiritual contract for a spiritual people with a spiritual law and spiritual promises.
the only change from the old to the new are the promises. Nothing else changed.
Both contracts are between God and the house of Israel and the House of Judah i. e. the children of Israel.
The Law remains physical but now the spiritual has been added, sin is still by the hand and now by the mind as well. The LAW is now “complete”, it has been magnified!! it is physical and spiritual.
The promises under the old were all physical blessings and now Christ brought forgiveness by His Sacrifice and when a person endures until the end eternal life.
Christ did not take away the Law Christ paid the penalty of the Law that we are “under” – for us.
The Law defines the Righteousness of God the Father and Jesus Christ. Thy Law is Truth!
Why do you suppose Christ said in Revelation that Satan will make war with the remnant of the women {the church} that keeps the Commandments of God?
