Genesis 1:1 – ‘In the beginning’
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
If there’s a verse of the Bible that nearly everyone has heard, whether believer or not, it’s this one. What some may not realize is that this foundation of the Bible is the key to whether or not someone can believe. If someone reads this and believes it, they have an opportunity to find the light and realize the truth of this world and the next. If they do not believe it, the rest of the Bible is meaningless to them.

“Genesis 1:1 – ‘In the beginning’”
Is not the beginning of the original Sumerian story. The biblical version of it is very condensed, leaving much of the original story out.
How can anyone who actually reads the biblical version not come away with the impression the biblical deity is more evil than all the demons combined? It’s all knowing, all powerful, lives for ever, can create what ever it likes when ever it likes, destroy what ever it likes when ever it likes… but it’s jealous of it’s flawed creation on it’s flawed world with it’s million and one ways of ending our lives before their time, and bitter if we don’t bow down and fawn to it.
I ask you.. WTF has IT got to be jealous or bitter about? If IT wanted perfection IT should have created us and our world as perfect. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear, not even when you drown it, burn it, or beat it to death, a sow ear it remains.
when I read the Bible, I didnt look at it that way, the first part of the story where it’s explained how our world was created by God/Creator for us to experience Human life here, it made sense in my mind I didnt read a lot of Negativity and Lies in the story
