-London’s Muslim Mayor: Terrorism is the New Normal- Get Use to It?

Terrorism is the new ‘normal’ so get use to it? That’s basically what Sadiq Khan, London’s Muslim mayor, suggested while attending an event in New York City with Mayor Bill de Blasio, just hours after the latest terrorist attacks. Khan is not alone in this view, a number of European leaders have made similar comments including French Prime Minister Manuel Valls,  Here’s the story from Daily Wire:

Terror attacks are “part and parcel of life in a big city,” Khan told the Evening Standard just hours after police foiled multiple terror attacks in New Jersey and New York.

Once hailed as a “progressive” Muslim that would inevitably challenge regressive Islamists, Khan is now echoing an excuse shared by European leaders across the West. After a series of terror attacks in France, the French Prime Minister told his countrymen that France “will have to live with terrorism.” In other words, terrorism is the new normal.

Response: I refuse to accept this. However, these left wing politicians may have a point if Muslim refugees continue to flood into western countries without being vetted. Nevertheless, we should demand that our political leaders do everything in their power to stop Islamic terrorism from becoming so commonplace that it is considered to be a new normal.

Now for the bad news.

The US State Department admits that their current vetting policy may not actually block all Islamist radicals, al Qaeda operatives, and ISIS supporters or actual soldiers from coming into the country among the regular refugees. Meanwhile, some American Muslims that are already here would like to see America’s Constitutional system replaced by Islamic Sharia law.

My question is this-

President Obama plans to bring in thousands more refugees (mostly Muslim- 98%) in his waning days in office and Hillary Clinton has already stated that she plans to bring in at least a million more during her first term if elected-

Will this make America safer? I don’t think so.

If you bring in a million Muslims and 99% are peaceful family folks, that still leaves 10,000 un-vetted Islamist radicals. If that is not enough to demonstrate a potential for Islamic terrorism then a recent poll by Al Jazeera (81% of the Muslims in the Middle East support ISIS) should give us all some concerns for the future normal.                *Top
