The second gathering of Israel is after the Great Tribulation, when the Messiah will Reign as King of Kings.
Christ will establish righteousness and restore the former glory of His creation. The kingdoms of this world will come under the Lordship of our Messiah, and the redeemed in Christ shall see their redemption.
The second gathering of Israel is unto Salvation, after the Son of man returns a second time with great Power and Glory (Mark 13:26; Isa 11:11).
Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people…
The second gathering of Israel, represents those who have accepted the cleansing power of the shed blood of Christ, and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Here is a link to a wonderful song about our Savior and Lord. MercyMe – Cannot Say Enough
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us, describes several attributes of those who will receive Christ’s Blessings at the second gathering of Israel :
Children depend on their father for everything including:
The Spirit of Christ in His children will produce fruits, some of these are love, joy, peace, perseverance, gentleness, goodness and faith (Gal 5:22).
Isaiah 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
The promise was made to Abraham and His seed, which is Christ Jesus. The second gathering of Israel is when Christ will rejoice with His chosen ones, that have His Spirit of truth. All that share in the righteousness of the faith of Abraham, are the seed that Christ brings forth unto His inheritance. This includes the dead in Christ, that have waited for this day wherein they receive resurrected, immortal and incorruptible bodies.
This is a time of restoration unlike any other, and probably similar to the first creation in many ways.
Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Christ will send forth his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that are an offence, and all those that practice iniquity. These idolaters will be cast into a furnace of fire, where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. But those who are of the second gathering of Israel, the righteous, will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father (Matt 13:41-43).
Born again believers are the true Israel of God, this represents all that faithfully follow Christ in Spirit and in Truth. Because of the fact that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, they do not follow the masters of deception posing as pastors, that do not understand even the most basic of the doctrines of Christ, including Salvation. http://destinedtoberevealed.com/the-christian-salvation-deception/
Gal 6:15-16 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
This blessing was to Abraham, not modern day Israel! Mathew speaks of the generations that start with Abraham, continue through David and end with Christ. The blessings of Abraham come on all that have faith through Christ. The reason for this is that the promises were made to Abraham and his seed, which is Christ (Gal 3:14-16).
Keep in mind that neither Abraham, Isaac, Jacob nor his sons were of the tribe of Judah; so they were not jewish, nor did they practice judaism. Furthermore even If those in Modern day Israel could prove a lineage from Jacob’s son Judah, which is highly unlikely, apart from Faith in Christ and adherence to His New Law, there is no blessing.
In Christ there is no difference between the Judeans or the Greeks, the important thing is to recognize that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, and are therefore members of the body of Christ. All who are truly transformed by Christ are Sealed with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and truly are the Israel of God.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
