In a way, I live in a perfect world. And in a way, some might suggest that my saying this about myself is rather psychotic. Let me explain this… I am NOT worried about death and dying. I am NOT worried that God won't meet my needs. I am NOT worried about family in regard their salvation. And then I am NOT worried about this world. So, what worries me the most? What most anyone is going to think in regard to what I am saying here in this post. Really. I always worry most about what people think. I don't worry about what God thinks of me. In fact, I have never had a relationship problem with God Himself. I can struggle with my relationships with people. But even then, while people can drive me up a wall, the fact is, that I don't worry about what anyone would do to me physically. I don't worry that anyone is going to harm me. So, in this regard I live in a perfect world, but it's MY world and it's a world in which I can't invite anyone to live here with me.
However, in a perfect world, there would be no death. In a perfect world, there would be no warfare. In a perfect world everyone would have plenty of everything. In a perfect world no one would worry about what others would do to him or her. In a perfect world, everything, well, everything would be perfect. Really. In a perfect world, we would live in a world that would be BETTER than we ever dreamed it could be. Now, why then, in His great power and abilities doesn't God make this world a perfect world without pollution and without hunger and warfare? My answer to this question isn't going to satisfy most anyone except maybe a professor of theology who sees the same answers from her students. The answer is simple: Satan is STILL in the world. And this is why the world is in the mess we find itself. Satan is the god of greed. Satan is the god of death and murder. Satan is the god of suicide. Satan is the god of all that is evil in this world. And as long as Satan is in this world, this world isn't going to have Peace. There won't be a perfect world until Satan is removed from it. And that won't happen until the Messiah comes. And that is the answer.
What do we do until then? We then seek righteous living. Really. We choose to live and we choose to let live. Satan's greatest tools that he uses against us are the tools of hatred, anger, and fear. If we can eradicate these emotions in our lives, we can find a perfect INNER Peace. We don't make the world perfect. We can make it another step towards perfection, but we can't make this world perfect. We can only perfect ourselves. It's really ALL we can do, but the fact is, we can have INNER Peace with ourselves. We can find acceptance while seeking to change what we can change, but all change begins with ourselves. I live in a perfect world, but that perfect world exists only in my own mind. Why? My Angels told me that all my battles with Satan are over. I can say the same thing about anyone, but only as he or she is able to defeat the emotions that do the most harm. By doing this, the world won't be perfect, but we are one step closer to it for ourselves. I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute. Peace.
