In Revelation Chapter 12 Satan and his angels are cast down to the earth. In Chapter 13 he stands on the sea shore as the beast (antichrist) comes out of the sea and he sets him up as the world leader. What Jesus meant about “as it was in the days of Noah” could be taken many ways, but I believe the key is “and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” Matt 24:39 What Jesus was stressing is that people will be going about their daily lives as normal and won’t believe that he is coming back just like they didn’t believe Noah then.
