My Angels and a New Era

First of all, it would seem that the two million women march on Washington DC was peaceful.  I can say the same thing about marches held by women all over the world.  Secondly, there have been a number of comparisons between Trump’s inauguration and that of another controversial president, Richard Nixon’s inauguration.  Then if you think about how this transition of power from Obama to Trump really IS totally different in so many ways.  We now have a populist president who really didn’t win the popular vote here in the US.  Trump already knows he doesn’t have most of the US behind him.  This is going to make for some very strange happenings in Washington for the next four years.  But I really don’t want to belabor my point this morning and that is that we ARE entering a whole new era and Trump is not only going to affect policies here in the US, but that he is going to dictate what countries do in their reaction to him during this time.  But let me say again that I am NOT surprised about the outcome of this election, because in MY mind, it IS proof that we are now living in the Apocalyptic Age.  There is ONLY ONE prophecy remaining.  It is the coming of the Messiah, that I believe Trump is preparing His way right now. 

I have said that women who have had abortions won’t see the Kingdom of Heaven unless they have been raped and have had abortions because of having been raped.  Then I make the rapists responsible before God.  Some might wonder then what all these women want.  Generally speaking, they want affordable health care and they want to be respected as women.  Some might think they want the right to have abortions.  Actually, that is probably the last thing on the list of any of these women if it makes any of their lists at all.  It’s really a human rights issue that ALL women are treated equally as men and to be respected as women.  They really are sending a message to all of us who are men that a woman’s body is to be respected.  Really, Trump brought all this on himself during the campaign.  But I see it all as preparation for the coming of the Messiah. 

I can remember some time ago I was at a mall here in our city where I live and I saw a man wearing a T-shirt that said, “Kill them all; let God sort it out.”  I thought then what a really strange T-shirt, but there are people who really feel that the election of Trump really has issued forth a new era of a lot of uncertainty.  I just see it all as signs of the times.  He is the perfect president for the Apocalyptic Age in which we find ourselves today.  He ushers in a whole new age of uncertainty.  I really didn’t agree with all Obama did as no president of any nation is perfect.  But after eight years, I was simply used to Obama.  He too, was a kind of populist, but in a different kind of way.  People were curious then as to what a Black president meant for the US.  Well, after eight years, we simply got used to him.  But the problem is, this is exactly the kind of world we thought it would be under a Trump administration.  Most any political pundit knew that Trump would bring in a whole new era, and really, after just a day and a half, no one seems surprised.  But that doesn’t prevent the world from being nervous with a very unpredictable world leader who isn’t a politician.  We really are living in a whole new era.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.  Peace.
