President elect Donald Trump is getting a lot of news lately and not all of it is good news. Meanwhile, Syria is under siege and people are still flooding out of that country trying to start new lives elsewhere in the world with whomever would take them in. And here I sit in the comfort of my own home writing tonight before going to bed about the events of the past week. I want to write about good news, but in MY thinking at least, we live in THE Apocalyptic Age foretold by the writer of the book of Revelations. I would suggest that if there is ANY good news tonight before I go to bed, it just might be that the Messiah will be here before I wake up in the morning.
I spent part of the afternoon watching videos about reports of UFO's all over the world. I have to admit that I didn't see a lot of detail in any of the videos I watched, but one of the common themes throughout all the videos was that the people who filmed the reports were scared. Let me say this about signs in the sky. It is said in the Bible that in the last days, there will be signs in the sky. I almost want to believe that all the reports about UFO's really are reports about angels and in some cases, demons. I won't suggest that ALL UFO sightings are about angels. But frankly, there is all kind of phenomena that can't be explained and that not all phenomena is about angels. In fact, if some experience doesn't leave one with a sense of peace, then in fact, I COULD go so far to suggest that such experience isn't really from God. I can say this about everything in life that can be either one way or another way. An experience with Angels will ALWAYS leave one with a sense of peace. In fact, I say this about most any current event, whether a single events leaves us in peace or in turmoil. But then a lot depends on our own perspectives and how we interpret most ANY event in life. It's just that a feeling of Peace is about human preservation and that a sense of chaos is really about destruction.
It's easy to observe most any unexplained event as chaos. I have to say that our reaction to chaos really can leave us unnerved. So, how then do we achieve peace out of chaos? I might suggest that today the news we get is news that is unsettling and unnerving. But Peace in chaos CAN be achieved. It's really a matter of our perspective. I believe St. Francis said it best: We accept what we cannot change and change what we can. Obama promised us change, but there were some in this country who didn't want his kind of change. They seek to undo what he tried to do in his eight years in office. I don't accept all his changes. But at the same time, I don't accept what others are trying to change. But I have only power within myself. So, I say to myself that I have a singular Message for EVERYONE: NOTHING is more important to God than EVERY Human Life. I can't stop Satan from taking Human Life, but I do have the power to spread this Message any way I can. I feel this is MY purpose in life and that I would challenge you to find YOUR purpose too. It's really ALL we can do. I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute. Peace. Brother Ralphie works from his study for the promotion of Peaceful living and inner Peace with God. He calls this the “Sanctity of Human Life Movement.”
