How Love Casts Out Our Fears

I haven’t written much this summer in my blog, nor have I really spent much time on social networking sites.  You might say I am taking a break from the world this summer.  BUT there is a reason for this.  In a way, I am totally burned out on Trumpism here in the US.  Let me say something about fear.  What IS our greatest fear?  Some might say it’s losing money.  Some might suggest it’s fear of nuclear holocaust.  We live with a lot of fears, but I would suggest that the greatest fear we live with in our daily lives is the fear of death and dying.  How can we conquer such a fear? 

Let me suggest that some people live their lives fearlessly.  There are those who don’t worry about death and dying for any number of reasons.  I believe there is a kind of immortal thinking that some people possess and deny death all together.  There are Christians who believe they will experience the rapture before they experience death, without realizing that in MY thinking, they are the same.  Some might wonder how the Rapture can be denied.  Well, the fact is, I don’t believe in such a thing.  I am saying and have been saying that there will be no Rapture and that ALL biblical prophecy has been fulfilled EXCEPT for ONE thing:  The coming of the Messiah.  And the ONLY people who HAVE ANYTHING to fear are those who have intentionally taken a Human Life.  There are those who issue death threats of ALL kinds.  There are those who threaten lives in many ways.  But only by carrying out those threats can one be denied entrance into heaven.  I don’t need to defend this theology.  I won’t even try.  I have said what needs to be said about this in earlier posts in this blog.  But I don’t care what a person believes as long as he or she NEVER intentionally takes a Human Life.  NOTHING is more important to God than EVERY single Human Life.  If we love EVERY single Human Life in spite of what others say or believe and choose NEVER to do any harm to ANYONE for ANY reason, then we live the example Jesus set for us in loving EVERY single Person.  This is all there is to it.  And if we LOVE others, then in fact, there is NOTHING to fear. 

I will allow racists to believe their rhetoric for I will do no harm to anyone with whom I disagree.  I will allow ANY religious person his or her own beliefs for beliefs do no harm.  I don’t care what your beliefs are.  I don’t care whether you are rich or poor.  I don’t care whether you have graduated with highest honors in a Ph.D. program or never finished high school.  In fact, I don’t care what your status in life might be.  I don’t care what your politics you choose.  I choose NEVER to do ANY harm to ANY person regardless of what he or she says or believes.  But I will say, “Woe to you who have intentionally taken a Human Life.”  You are already irredeemable no matter what reason you have for having done so.  Woe.  Woe.  Woe.  But if you choose to LOVE those with whom you have the greatest disagreements, you choose Life.  This is all there is to it.  And if you choose Life, you have no reason to EVER fear death.  This is how LOVE casts out all fear.  There is no fear of death if there is NEVER ANY reason to FEAR God.  I have zero fear of God.  I know what I am saying here.  I live with zero fear of death or dying.  The reason why is that I love God first, and in so doing, I love my fellow Human Beings.  It’s really all we have to do.  If we do that, there is NOTHING to fear, not even death itself.  Peace.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.
