Why don’t you share His Name? An Open Letter to All Pastors, Ministers and Priests

Dear trusted Shepherd of the flock,

May I ask a respectful question?

Why do you not share our Father’s
Name with your congregation?

Given your calling, I’m assuming you know His Name.

In the event you don’t, His true Name is YaHuWaH. We know this is His Name because He specifically says it is. In the King James Version, we read:

“And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my Name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.” – Exodus 3:15 KJV

Have you ever noticed in the King James Translation, this verse makes no sense?

That’s because the real Name for our Father was substituted for the words “The LORD” just under 7000 times in the Old Testament–including the one in this verse!

When you study the Hebrew manuscripts of the Scriptures (the original language of the Old Testament), you discover wherever the words “The LORD” are inserted, His true Name has been removed…

Here is our Father’s true Name in Hebrew:

His Name is pronounced: Yahoo-ah. It means Self-Existent or the Eternal.

The Hebrew letters are Yod – Hey – Waw – Hey.

These are fact. There’s nothing esoteric, mystical or occult about it. (Strong’s H3068.)

Incredibly, despite warnings from our Father, the translators of the King James Version of the Bible deliberately replaced (one could say disguised, covered over or obfuscated) the original words.

While the specific reason why is up for debate, for 400+ years (perhaps much longer,) the damage was done.

This travesty has led to millions being deprived of the esteemed Name that was meant to be shared for all generations.

Again, the King James Version states:

“And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.” – Exodus 3:15 KJV

Notice how His Name was replaced, again. However, Our Father YaHuWaH is very clear–this was only a temporary situation.

“So will I make my holy Name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy Name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am The LORD, the Holy One in Israel.” Ezekiel 39:7 KJV

(As you know, Ezekiel was writing to the end times generation.)

In practice, as you switch all the “The LORD”’s back to His true Name, the Scriptures take on a whole new meaning, beauty, intimacy, and personal relevance.

To emphasize, let’s take a look at that verse again using His REAL and true Name, as it is evidenced in the Dead Scrolls:

“And I shall make My qodesh Name known in the midst of the people Yisra’el, and not let My qodesh Name be profaned any more. And the gentiles shall know that I am YaHuWaH, the Qodosh One in Yisra’el.” – Ezekiel 39:7, HalleluYah Scriptures

It reads a whole lot better, doesn’t it? This is what it says in Hebrew. (Qodosh means “holy” as well as “set apart”.)

Our Father KNEW his Name would be profaned and polluted, that there would be those wishing to bury it–and amazingly, that it would someday be restored.

Have you been unintentionally burying his Name, Shepherd?

Have we forgotten his Name?

The situation gets worse. The following scripture, taken to heart, will shock you…

“Till when shall it be in the heart of the prophets? – the prophets of falsehood and prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My Name for Ba‛al.” – Jeremiah 23:26-27 ISR: Institute for Scripture Research

Yes generally speaking, we as his children, have forgotten His Name. (Our Father also accused the Priests of not just forgetting his name, but despising his name. See Malachi 1:6).

But here’s the kicker: Did you also know that Ba‛al means “Lord,” the ancient Phoenician storm deity? (See Strong’s H1168)

What Father is saying in this verse is our fathers and forefathers
have forgotten His Name and substituted Ba‛al–a pagan deity!

Our Father spoke of this in Judges 3:7…

“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and forgat the Lord their God, and served Baalim and the groves.” Judges 3:7 KJV

That’s what we’re dealing with today.

Stated differently, the above Jeremiah 23:27 verse is a prophecy fulfilled. His Name was forgotten. And it will be restored.

So let me ask you, Shepherd:

What have you been feeding your flock?

Which deity have you been telling them is our Creator? Which mighty one are you telling them to praise and worship?…

Is it Lord (i.e. Ba‛al, the ancient storm deity)? Or is it YaHuWaH, our heavenly Father?

It’s a simple question.

Before you answer, you should know the situation gets even worse…

Are you unintentionally taking
His Name in vain?

Let’s take a quick look at the third commandment. And, we’ll look at it in the King James Translation.

“Thou shalt not take the Name of the LORD thy God in vain; for The LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his Name in vain.” Exodus 20:7 KJV

Aside from the substitution of the His Name and title in this verse (as He never calls Himself ‘God’), the word “vain” in Hebrew means “to make desolate”. It’s the word “shoaw” and it also means emptiness, worthlessness, waste, ruin.

So let me ask you a question. If someone decided to strip your very own Name out of your everlasting work (The Word), wouldn’t you be angry?

Of course you would.

Which is why our Father says in no uncertain terms, He will judge anyone who takes His Name in vain/makes it desolate.

It’s something to consider as you preach to your congregation.

So my question still stands, Shepherd. Why are you
refusing to use our Father’s Name?

Why are you refusing to even mention our Father’s Name – ESPECIALLY when He instructs us to make use of His Name abundantly?

Our Father is very specific about how:

Acknowledge The Name – 1 Kings 8:33-35

Bless The Name – Psalm 145:21

Call on The Name – Psalm 99:6

Declare The Name – 2 Chronicles 6:24-25, 1 Kings 8:35-36

Do Not Despise The Name – Romans 9:17, Hebrews 2:12, John 17:26

Exalt The Name – Malachi 1:6

Give Thanks To The Name – Psalm 106:47

Glorify The Name – 1 Chronicles 16:9-10, Psalm 86:9, 12

Honor The Name – Psalm 66:2-4

Love The Name – Psalm 5:11, 69:34-36, Isaiah 56:5-6

Magnify The Name – Psalm 69:30

Make Known The Name – 2 Chronicles 2:1-6

Mention The Name – Isaiah 12:2, 4:26:13

Praise The Name – 2 Samuel 22:50, Psalm 148:1-2, 11-13

Publish The Name – Deuteronomy 32:3

Remember The Name – Exodus 3:15, Psalm 45:17

Revere The Name – Malachi 4:2

Sacrifice [Offering] to The Name – Psalm 116:13, 17

Sing to The Name – Psalm 9:1-2

Think on The Name – Malachi 3:16

Trust in The Name – Isaiah 50:10

After reading that long list of ways to embrace the name of YaHuWaH, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to come to the conclusion He wants us to use a mere title for his Name, such as “The LORD”.

The days of making His Name a desolation are rapidly coming to an end.

Here’s what’s beautiful. When we use His true Name YaHuWaH, we can claim a multitude of promises and blessings.

Blessings you can claim when
you start using His true Name

“Because he clings to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him: I exalt him, because he has known My Name.” Psalm 91:14 , HalleluYah Scriptures

“In every place where I cause My Name to be remembered, I shall come to you and barak (‘bless’) you.” Exodus 20:24b, Halleluyah Scriptures

“And My people, upon whom My Name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways; then will I hear from the shamayim (heaven), and forgive their sin, and  heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 Halleluyah Scriptures

“But to you who revere My Name the Brilliance of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And ye shall go out, and leap for joy like calves from the stall.” – Malachi 4:2 Halleluyah Scriptures

“For your Maker is your husband; Yahuwah of hosts is His Name; and the Qadosh (Holy) One of Yisrael is your Redeemer. He is called the Elohim of all the earth.” – Isaiah 54:5 Halleluyah Scriptures.

“Yahuwah is my shepherd; I do not lack. He makes me to lie in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He turns back my being; He leads me on paths of righteousness for His Name’s Sake.” – Psalm 23:1-3  Halleluyah Scriptures

Yes, even in Psalm 23. Are you starting to appreciate the importance of His Name?

When called upon, His Name is the most powerful name in the universe–able to create true miracles in people’s lives.

Are you unintentionally failing
your congregation, Shepherd?

Maybe I’m being a little too bold here, but you should be aware that for those in your congregation who DO know and esteem His Name, your sermons are falling flat.

Something is off, and we all know what it is.

It’s like watching an opera singer attempting to deliver a beautiful concerto–yet unable to hit the high notes.

It’s like preparing a delicious meal–without the one spice that makes all the difference.

What’s even more disconcerting is it seems like you’re deliberately trying to hide something extremely valuable, because you don’t want your congregation to know.

We can only guess as to why.

But wait, there’s more…

Not to pile on, but the King James translators also substituted another essential word which has had a profound impact on our relationship with the Father.

Amazingly, they inserted the word “God.”

Did you know that Strong’s Concordance lists “God” (“Gad”) as “the Babylonian deity of fortune?”

So when we’re calling out to “God,” we’re unintentionally calling out to another completely different deity than our Father.

Yikes.

Yes, it’s true. (See Strong’s H1408.)

The only thing holding back His Name from being restored are the traditions and the motives of men.

The remedy? Start liberally incorporating our Father YaHuWaH’s true Name in your sermons. Teach your congregation His true Name.

Again… He never calls Himself ‘God’. The reason for this is “God” is the Babylonian deity, Fortune. Hard to swallow. Easy to prove. Strong’s H1408, H1409.

Also, we have Isaiah 65:11. Let’s look at verses 10 and 11:

“And Sharon shall be for a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in,  for My people that have sought Me. But, you are they that forsake YaHuWaH, that forget My qadosh mountain, that prepare a table for G-d, and that furnish the drink offering to Mani.” – Isaiah 65:10-11 Restoration Scriptures, True Name Edition

As a side benefit of restoring the Father’s Name, YaHuWaH, I think you’ll find your spiritual life will change drastically for the better. Your relationship with your Creator will take on new life and new meaning, intimacy, new breadth and depth of purpose.

I know it did for me, as well as many, many other people.

A Strong, Yet Loving Warning

Shepherd, respectfully speaking, consider yourself put on notice.

After reading this letter, you cannot plead ignorance anymore. You can no longer hide behind the King James Version of the Bible.

Our Father YaHuWaH wants His Name proclaimed–and as THE LEADER and watchman of your congregation, you’re THE PERFECT PERSON to take a stand, practice right ruling, and restore His Name by feeding His sheep His Name.

Trust me…  Your congregation hungers for the truth. They’re waiting for you to preach the almighty Name of YaHuWaH.

They’ll praise Him. They’ll worship Him. And they’ll thank Him.

Especially now, at this time.

You see the signs, you read the scriptures, you know time is getting short.

Trust the Father, and just watch. Your congregation will welcome His Name with open arms. They are ready.

One last thought from our Savior…

Consider the words of our Savior, just before He was crucified:

 “I have esteemed You on the earth, having accomplished the work You have given Me that I should do.

“And now, esteem Me with Yourself, Father, with the esteem which I had with You before the world was.

“I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word.

“Now they have come to know that all You gave to Me, is from You.

“Because the Words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they have received them, and have truly known that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.

“And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I have been esteemed in them.

“And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Set-apart Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are.

“When I was with them in the world, I was guarding them in Your Name which You have given Me, and I watched over them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be filled.” – John 17:4-12 ISR

See? Even our Messiah just before His crucifixion talked about revealing and guarding Father’s Name.

Can you? Will you? 

 I so hope so.

I believe you have an obligation, Shepherd. An obligation, a responsibility and a calling:

“And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” - Ezekiel 3:16-19 KJV

That’s what’s at stake, dear Shepherd… your soul. Yours, as well as those of your congregation.

I am reaching out today, Shepherd, because Father has placed a heavy burden on me to share His Name.

But I can’t do it alone.

In these times, YaHuWaH has placed you as the watchman of your congregation. And I thought the best way to make a difference for Him was for me to reach out to you.

I fervently believe we are called to restore His Name–as well other things He wants to reclaim from the adversary.

While I may not be able to reach out to you personally, I’m sure there are those in your congregation who read this heartfelt letter and will share this message with you… as well as share it with their brothers and sisters everywhere.

You now know the stakes, dear Shepherd. And you now know what to do.

I believe one way or another, sooner or later, your congregation will come to know His esteemed and holy Name.

And like a plant reaching towards the sun, it will be a beautiful thing to watch unfold.

Whether you are proclaim His Name and become the catalyst for its restoration… or you deny His Name while others around you begin to search for Him… that is the question.

I encourage you to humble yourself and proclaim YaHuWaH’s esteemed Name. Traditions of men can not stand against it.

In fact, I believe our generation is being called upon to institute this change–and no longer proclaim the inherited lies of our fathers.

I know I’m not alone. Others, perhaps in your congregation, also believe this.

It’s up to you, of course.
