My Angels ARE a Different Path

My therapist/friend once said to me that I am different and odd.  I would agree with this.  In fact, when he told me this, I didn’t protest.  Anyone who would have taken my path in life would be different or odd.  I don’t cling to traditions.  In fact, there is a lot about me that isn’t traditional.  I don’t get nostalgic about the “old days” or spend a lot of time reminiscing about my life.  About the only thing I cling to is my experience with my Angels and of course, memories that involve my wife and kids. 

In fact, even though I am some old guy of retirement age, I really don’t think about what it is I want to do in my “old age,” except to do what I feel must be done for my Angels.  My focus is and has been my Angels, even though I didn’t discuss them with hardly anyone for about 17 years.  Then when I did, I didn’t get the traction with my Angels I expected.  But still, I am undaunted.  Why?  My life has taken a different path all because of my Angels.  You see, part of the problem with my Angels involve my mental well-being.  But now that I am older, it seems to me that just doesn’t matter.  I look at my life for the past 24 years and ask how my Angels have made a difference.  Well, I would say that the big difference is that 24 years ago, without my Angels, I wouldn’t have had those 24 years.  And a lot has happened to me during that time. 

The fact is, I don’t live by conventional rules and in a way, I never did.  But according to my Angels, this is okay.  It’s okay with God to be different and/or odd.  I accept that about myself, for I think to myself quite often, it seems these are the kind of people God looks for specifically if He needs a task to be performed by someone.  I claim my Angels gave me a task 24 years ago and I do that task every time I write or talk about my Angels.  I don’t spend much time quoting anyone in particular.  I can’t find much out there that can support my theology I claim to have inherited from my Angels.  But the fact is, according to God that must be okay.  Otherwise, you wouldin’t be reading this right now.  Peace.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.
