My Angels are NOT a Hobby

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

I have always had an interest in British cars, beginning with ownership of a little British sports car back in the early 70′s.  I have stated that my Angels are in ALL I do.  And they are.  They are a part of all  my interests, ownership of all I have, and in all my relationships.  I don’t separate my Angels from ANYTHING I do.  This is why I am somewhat limited in what I am able to do, because by profession, I am an ordained minister, but that isn’t what I have done with my life.  I left ministry after my ordination believing that a profession in the Church isn’t what I wanted to do.  I still perform wedding ceremonies, but on a very limited basis.  My understanding of the theology I claim I inherited from my Angels doesn’t fit into the theological thinking of any kind of religious hierarchy.  I understand this perfectly.  However, none of this bothers me.  I have stated that I walk to the beat of a different drummer.  And I do.  Whatever I do or don’t do is between my wife and I, and between my God and I.  And this is how I see it.  I believe in universal salvation for EVERYONE and that one loses one’s salvation by intentionally taking a Human Life.  But this can’t be the thinking of most any religion of which I am aware.  Even a Universalist will struggle with what I am saying because I say it’s possible to lose one’s salvation.

Having said this, I still maintain an interest in British cars.  I could say it’s in my blood from way back.  But now, the ONLY British cars to be imported to the US are exotics and very expensive automobiles.  I could go down the list, but really, the least expensive British car imported to the US starts at around $75,000 and then go up astronomically from there.  It’s just that inexpensive British cars are NOT imported to the US, mostly because they don’t meet our strict environmental and safety standards.  There are some British cars I wish WERE imported to the US.  And really, in light of the protectionism that is now a part of US policies, more restrictions will be put in place against ANY car not manufactured in the US.  I am sad to see this happen, because competition is good for the US car manufacturers to compete on a world market.  Lest I digress, all I need to say is that the current administration doesn’t see it this way.

I COULD say then that all I am as Brother Ralphie IS just a hobby.  But my Angels are not nor have they ever been just a hobby.  There isn’t much money to be made from my Angels, but I say that the Angels are a part of all I do and have done.  It’s just that when it comes to organized religions, the theology isn’t adaptable to the thinking of most any religious person.  I understand this perfectly and I understood it that night I met with my Angels.  But apart from my survival, I do what I do for my Angels and I believe God HAS to do the rest.  My Angels are HIS problem and NOT mine.  I can have all the interests I want to have, but no matter what I either do or don’t do,  my Angels are a part of it all.  And this is something I can’t help.  I don’t know what my Angels have to do with British cars, but this is an interest that has never waned over the years.  Peace.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.  Brother Ralphie works from his study for the promotion of Peaceful living and inner Peace with God. He calls this the “Sanctity of Human Life Movement.”
