The Coming Crisis

I hate it when people set dates for the end of the world.  When the date comes and goes these people just set a new date.  I guess it gives people something to which they can look forward in hopes that if they are going to die, the world will go with them.  I won’t set any dates for the arrival of the Messiah simply because I don’t know.  And I am not even sure that what I want to say this morning is really a prophecy.  I am not an economist.  But I have paid enough attention to economics since the Great Recession of 2008.  A lot of protections were put into place for consumers here in the US under the Obama administration.  Whether for good or for bad regarding your thoughts about the Obama administration, Trump inherited a good hand.  BUT, and this is what I want to say this morning, he is undoing economically a lot of protections put into place by Obama.

I just read an article about more farmers taking their lives.  I think farmers will feel it first.  Then I think manufacturing will be next.  Finally, as we have seen with the rise of interest rates on housing, we will see the consumers feeling it last.  And it won’t just be US consumers.  I see a world-wide recession much like that of 2008 coming.  I don’t know how long it will take, but I do see Trump undoing a LOT of protections put in place to protect consumers.  If banks are NOT regulated, we will see more of the same that we saw prior to the Great Recession before 2008.  The next crash COULD be the next Great Depression as already experienced by Venezuela.  Except it will be world-wide.

I can’t say when this will happen.  A lot of Democrats are hoping for a recession here in the US prior to the November elections.  I don’t know.  I won’t set any dates.  I just say it is coming.  The world is being prepared now for the next Great Recession that COULD become a world-wide depression.  This world WILL get worse before it gets better.  Now, some would say I must hate Trump.  No.  He is where is he is and it’s indicative of what I have been saying about the world being in the Apocalyptic Age.  I have been trying to read the tea leaves, so to speak, wanting to know about when the Messiah will come.  I was going to call this post “The Next Prophecy,” but I hate it when preachers try to make prophecies.  I think there is a world economic crisis that is coming and it’s beginning with Trump’s tariff wars.  I really think his tariffs are bad economic policies.  A second thing he is doing is taking away the banking regulations put in place by the Obama administration to protect consumers.  I think these two policies will have ramifications in the world markets.  And the bottom line is how these regulations will affect the pocketbooks, not only of US citizens, but of people all over the world.  This is the bad news.  The good news is that in MY thinking, these things MUST happen BEFORE the arrival of the Messiah.  BUT, I will NOT call this a prophecy.  I am NOT a world economist.  I COULD be totally wrong about this.  But if history is a teacher, I would say I have learned my lesson well.  We just have to wait and see.  Peace.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.  Brother Ralphie works from his study for the promotion of Peaceful living and inner Peace with God.
