‘Alien body’ found in Russia deemed serious enough for Kremlin involvement

The college kids behind the video have admitted to the hoax; but only after the Kremlin ordered a search of their residence, and police questioning.

Dateline Zero — The ‘Alien body’ claimed to have been found in Russia, and the YouTube video that resulted, got the attention of the Russian government. The Kremlin ordered an investigation that included searches and heavy questioning of the college kids who put the entire alleged hoax together.

This all began last week, when a video of an alleged alien body was gaining a lot of attention on the internet, and was even picked up by the mainstream news media. The video (posted below) was uploaded to YouTube by user Sashafrombaikal, who claims the video shows the “guys in the woods behind the village” where the body of an dead extraterrestrial has been found.

The area where the body was claimed to have been found is known to be a UFO ‘hot spot,’ lending credibility to the claim in the minds of some of the world’s more eccentric UFO believers. One such believer commented on the YouTube video: “It’s so lame how people always get thrilled by having another excuse to shout ‘Fake! fake!’ every time something weird shows up. Unless proven otherwise, this is in fact plausible.”

The clip viewed by nearly 700,000 people within just a few days. The video shows the corpse of a badly-damaged creature. It’s about 2 feet tall, is missing part of one leg, and has hollowed-out pits where the eyes should be.

The Daily Mail reported that “UFO fans believe the body could have been left behind by ET visitors after an accident, or missed by Russian military alien experts clearing up after a crash.”

The reaction from the government was rather curious. When the Kremlin found out about the video, they reacted swiftly and strongly. Police discovered the identities of the students who put the hoax together: Students Timur Hilall, 18, and Kirill Vlasov, 19.

By Monday, April 25, the student’s homes had been searched, and they were subjected to police questioning. Prosecutors are actually considering whether or not to charge the kids with crimes.

A spokesman from the Russian interior ministry confirmed the active response from the Soviet Russian government. (Honest mistake.) “We found the alien in one of the student’s homes,” he said, according to the Daily Mail. “It was lying under his bed and an examination of it revealed it had been made of bread crumbs which were covered in chicken skin.”
