THE SAD TRUTH ABOUT DISCLOSE.TV AND WHY YOU CAN’T BELIEVE THEM

Tuesday, November 8, 2016 21:48
% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

(Before It's News)

Disclose.tv was once a hub for paranormal enthusiasts to convene together and share their ideas about UFO’s, alien life, conspiracy theories and more.

I used to frequent this “news” outlet as a semi-reliable source of information which at the time was not considered to be satirical in nature. For years every time an article was posted it was posted complete with references and source material so the reader had the option to check the sources of the information they were being told is fact.

In the past year, though several of the top posters on the website Lukas Magnusson,Varbage and UFO Mania have been stealing content from other more popular blogs and rewriting them word for word on their website. They then create a terrible quality video to use as “proof” that they aren’t just making this information up.

The whole website is now nothing more than a way for them to advertise their Youtube videos, and whenever someone comments asking about source material… the comment is quickly marked as spam and removed.

It is so important to know that the articles you are sharing hold some grains of truth, but it is literally impossible to do so when the article you are reading does not contain any truth or research whatsoever.

Here is a prime example:

If you look at this article you will soon see the lack of professionalism, the passive voice and apparent disregard for at least trying to make this information seem factual. The same low-quality robot voice video reading the fiction that was written to back up the article for the sheep of the world to see, read and share with their friends.

Take a look at the comments section and you will see what I mean, I am not the only one calling them out on the content they are trying to push on us.

The sad part about this is that this used to be a community where people could chat, share ideas, submit their own work to the website (which they do not pay you for) and have a source of information to delve into.

I am not saying the entire website is full of BS, because it is not. All I am saying is that you really need to make sure that when you share articles you aren’t adding to the huge problem the world is experiences called “misinformation”.

I have contacted the owners of the website several times in the hope of getting their side of the story but as you can imagine.. they want nothing to do with the fact that I am debunking their new attack method of putting money in their pockets by sharing bullshit “news”.

Do yourself a favour and learn how to catch these things. It is becoming more and more common as the years go by and we need to take small steps to correct it and let people know that nothing you read on the internet, in a book or anywhere else is going to be 100% unbiased and direct. It’s important to know how to spot the difference between true, researched content and (slap posts) that are targeted just for website views and ad revenue.
