B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice with minor in Political Science. Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Certified. Was a Campus Police Officer for a short time. Indiana Army National Guard, MOS Military Police, Served 9 years with a rank of E-5 SGT. Two Honorable Discharges. Received the Army Achievement Medal. Worked for Family Social Services putting people on Social Security Disability. Worked there for 6 years. Transferred to Corrections. Was a correctional officer in an all adult male facility for 2 years before transferring to a Men\'s Work Release Center. I was there only 4 months when I received a promotion to The Department of Correction Central Office. I was a Release Specialist over 92 counties that housed DOC offenders. I then worked for the Sex Offender Registry before taking an early retirement. I\'ve also ran a political campaign and counseled battered women on a voluntary basis for 7 years. I also volunteered with Hospice care for a few years. I took care of my brother when he had cancer. My hobbies include ridding horses, shooting guns, writing, animal rescue and ballroom dancing.
