Mashed Potato Recipe

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Everyone loves a good potato dish! Whether it’s fried, baked, and my favourite way of cooking potatoes, mashed.

Mashed potatoes are the ultimate comfort food and my children are always happy and satisfied when I serve it up at dinnertime. They go well with absolutely anything such as a good stew, grilled chicken, and most famously, Thanksgiving dinner.

No Thanksgiving dinner will be complete without mashed potatoes! It has the ability to turn any boring dinner into a hearty one. And with the holiday season coming up, you can give this recipe a try!

Mash potatoes are fairly simple to make but there are a few tips and tricks to achieve the ultimate perfectly smooth, creamy and yummy mash potato.

Using the right potatoes is important in a mash and my favourite kind is starchy potatoes as the starch produces a light and fluffy mash and absorbs butter and milk easily.

Waxy potatoes are usually not fit for mashes as they can be quite chunky and hard to mash.

This simple recipe will teach you to be the master of all mashed potatoes, achieving that creamy, dreamy consistency and flavour. This particular recipe serves 4 people.
