La. Warning Serial Home Invasion Sex Assaulter Loose

Police have issued a warning in Batorn Rouge that a serial home invader sexual assaulter is on the loose after three of these had occurred since Saturday.

“Police issued a warning to Baton Rouge residents Tuesday after they announced they were investigating three home invasions and sexual assaults that had happened since Sunday morning,” WBRZ reported.

Baton Rouge residents are being advised to lock their doors and windows; report any suspicious activity by calling 389-2000 or 911 in the case of an emergency; and be aware of surroundings at all times.

Two of the victims were elderly women in their 70′s and home alone when tattacked and sexually assaulted, according to detectives.

A third victim, who was in her 30′s, had her door kicked in and was covered with a blanket by the attacker before he tried to assault her. She fought back and was able to escape to a neighbor’s house for help.

Anyone with information about these crimes is urged to telephone the Baton Rouge Police Department Sex Crimes Division at 389-3853.

Sexual assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape.
