(Before It's News)

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division has released a fact sheet and a brochure on its N-DEx System. Since its inception in 2008, the N-DEx System has grown to include data from thousands of law enforcement and criminal justice data sources, and is available at no cost to agencies or users wishing to search the hundreds of millions of records available through the system or participate by sharing their data.

The investigative nature of the system is a force-multiplier, allowing agencies to access even more data in less time and make connections between seemingly unrelated information not previously available.
