This situation is not unique to the residents of New Jersey. As a matter of fact, the effects of the financial crisis are being felt by people around the world. The crisis that has been created causes all of us to feel helpless and compels us to evaluate the cause: our egoism and resistance to unity. There is an old adage that says no man is an island. The same thing could be said today of all nations of the world because no nation today is self sufficient. Every nation depends on products and services that are produced by other nations. This global codependency creates the need for nations of the world to unite. It is very much like the human body, whose organs must cooperate together for the body to be healthy. If this cooperation is lacking, the body will become sick and die.
There is an evolution of consciousness that is taking place within all humanity. The global situation that humanity is now faced with is similar to the growing pains that we experienced as children. In order to rise above this situation, the nations of the world must connect with one another and unite, if we to step into adulthood. All nations of the world are part of the same human race. We must rise above our national egoism and understand that all nations are like organs within the body of humanity. And if one nation is affected, then the whole of humanity is affected as well. Humanity is at the crossroads in the development of its consciousness and social structure. And there is a choice that must be made. We must come together and unite and work in tandem as organs in the human body, or as a human race we will self-destruct. United we stand and divided we fall. The choice is up to us.
