The Weekend Vigilante June 2nd, 2012

In our quest to spread the good word of freedom I left family and friends in my own quite-free paradise this week to travel north to the un-freer parts of North America.  After spending a lovely day out on Acapulco Bay with the growing staff at TDV and some anarchist visitors, who continue to make the pilgrimage to Acapulco, I drank a little extra Tecate, preparing myself for what I knew was ahead.

There is currently only one off-season international flight per day out of Acapulco and I, unfortunately, was on it.  United Airlines to Houston.  The rest of the flights all boarded in perfect harmony with smiles while the United staff bellowed at the 15 passengers with a microphone at high level for 10 minutes outlining all the rules and regulations required just to board the plane.

Once on the flight I ordered the RedTree chardonnay Californian wine to continue to numb the pain. On the bottle it states, “RedTree Chardonnay is the perfect wine to enjoy with a variety of foods – from cold pizza to pasta salads”.  Only in America would a wine boast that it goes best with cold pizza, I laughed.

Once in Houston I watched everybody supplicate to the customs officials.  Only the residual buzz from the RedTree chardonnay, my iPhone music player and Bose noise-cancelling headphones kept me from showing my disdain to the process.  After thirty minutes of waiting I made it through and went for a nice meal at Pappadeaux.  I ordered a steak and was given a metal fork and a black plastic picnic knife.

Ignoring for the moment that the metal fork is probably as “dangerous” as a metal bread knife would be, or more so, I noticed across from me sat a man with a “Don’t F*&k With Texas” t-shirt on who was also trying to cut his steak with the same utensil and actually had it break into two as he pressed down on it.  As I labored to cut my own steak with the ridiculous plastic knife I thought, they already f*&ked with Texas and no one even seems to notice.

The Chardonnay, though, again helped ease the oppression.  I then prepared to re-board for Vancouver and watched Michael Jackson’s last concert performance on the inflight DirecTV.  Say what you want about Michael but he was an expert performer who was a true artisan of communicating the message of love through music.

I listened to the heavily anti-state lyrics of They Don’t Really Care About Us (watch the banned version of this video here), including lines like:

It made me realize that almost all music is about love or freedom… anarchic at it’s heart.

MUSIC IS ANARCHIC

All people love music… and almost all music spreads a message which is anarchic.  A rough guesstimate is that 90% of songs are about love.  Love is anarchy.  Voluntary connections between individuals.  And the remainder of songs are usually about freeing us from the oppression of the state.

“Hardcore” music like gangster rap is heavily anti-state.  NWA’s “F*&k tha Police” is just one of many examples.  And, before that was “heavy metal”.  Bands like Iron Maiden and songs like “Run to the Hills” told the story of past crimes against humanity by the state and past empires better than most history classes.

Of course, because of the heavy amount of truth in heavy metal and gangster rap, both were hotly contested topics in the slimy halls of Congress.  The state saw the music for what it was, anti-establishment, and fought to ban them both.  Even before rap and heavy metal, Elvis Presley and the Beatles were, in what now seems absolutely bizarre, hotly contested by the powers that be.  They were making people act out their natural instincts and urges.  How dare they jump around and gyrate their own bodies!  They must conform to what the state wants and how it demands its slaves to be!

But, the fact of the matter is, with the possible exception of some country music, almost all music is about anti-aggression and love… the message of anarchy.  There aren’t many ballads about the importance of state run “education” or socialized medical systems.  If you love music and aren’t an anarchist you should listen harder.

THE POLICE STATE OF VANCOUVER

I arrived yesterday in Vancouver, Canada and the police presence everywhere continues to grow up here in the true north strong and unfree.

First, upon landing, the headlines read about a brutal execution done by a Vancouver cop after video evidence of the police shooting a mentally ill, unarmed man, as he crawled on his hands and knees.

But, then, upon visiting a popular bar called Opus, I couldn’t believe my eyes as the police were set-up on the back tables of the bar with a laptop and were photographing and observing the upmarket crowd.  I couldn’t resist taking their picture… turnabout is fair play after all.

A bouncer saw me take their photo and quickly had me removed from the establishment!  That was fine with me, I thought, I have no interest in being in a bar which allows government agents to so brazenly monitor its crowd.

Upon being put outside on the street a swarm of cops jumped some guy… for reasons unknown.  I again pulled out my trusty iphone and began to take video when the bouncer rushed up to me and told me if I didn’t stop taking video he’d break my phone.  While he had no right to do so and it was nothing more than a threat of violence against a peaceful person I decided that another night in handcuffs and a broken cellphone were not worth the trouble.

Almost every bar in Vancouver requires identification and having your photo taken prior to entry.  Why?  Those pesky dried flowers, again!  The headline on the Vancouver Sun newspaper on the coffee table in my hotel room read, “Since August hit on Jon Bacon, 12 gangsters have been slain in Vancouver“.  After 40 years of fighting, and losing, the drug wars, Vancouver is full of gang violence and the entire city is nearly turned into a prison to “fight” the voluntary transactions between buyers and sellers of plants.

WE’RE WINNING

The news that CNN’s audience has dropped by 50% in the last 12 months is proof that thanks to the internet, we are winning.  The truth is getting out, mostly due to the “alternative media”.  CNN and their likes will continue to fade and eventually die unless the internet can be stopped… or until they start telling the truth.  But, they would never resort to that.  They are a part of the system.  If they tell the truth then peace and prosperity spreads and the system dies.  They will fight to the end to avoid that.

TRAVEL CONTROLS

As The End Of The Monetary System As We Know It (TEOTMSAWKI) continues on, governments are already making clear that travel will be restricted for those whose currencies and economies collapse.  Theresa May, the criminal Home Secretary of the UK has stated that in the event of a euro collapse, “We’re going to give illegal migrants a really hostile reception.“

So, just when you think things couldn’t get any worse as currencies and economies outright collapse, those looking to flee to better environments may find themselves stuck as foreign countries block them from entry.  Just another reason to get a second slave card (passport)… to give yourself options in the event that the country that currently claims your ownership finds itself in dire straights and travel restrictions are put in place.
