Lock Your Doors And Prepare To Defend Your Family

from The Economic Collapse Blog
Do you think that is an alarmist headline? Well, I am not the one saying this. Law enforcement authorities all over the country are telling citizens that they can no longer deal with all the crime and that people need to lock their doors and prepare to defend their families. Just recently, the city attorney of San Bernardino, California told citizens to “lock their doors and load their guns” because there is not enough money to pay for adequate police protection any longer. The murder rate in San Bernardino is up 50 percent this year, but the city is dealing with bankruptcy and has been forced to lay off 80 police officers. But San Bernardino is not the only city dealing with this kind of a thing. In Oakland, burglaries are up 43 percent so far this year, and to say that there is a “crime wave” going on in Oakland would be a massive understatement. If you can believe it, in Oakland “more than 11,000 homes, cars or businesses have been broken into so far this year – translating to about 33 burglaries a day.” Sadly, there simply are not enough police to keep up with it all. Due to budget cuts, it is being projected that by February the size of the police force in Oakland will be about 25 percent smaller than it was back in 2008. But what is happening in Detroit is perhaps even more frightening. Today there are about 1,000 fewer police officers in Detroit than there was a decade ago. But crime just continues to rise. So now even the police are telling people to “enter Detroit at your own risk“. With very little police protection, an increasing number of citizens are taking matters into their own hands. As I noted in a previous article, justifiable homicide in the city of Detroit increased by 79 percent in 2011, and the rate of self-defense killings in Detroit is approximately 2200 percent above the national average. But don’t laugh at what is happening in cities like San Bernardino, Oakland and Detroit. What is happening in those cities will be coming to your community soon enough.

I lock my doors to keep the lawless and violent cops out. They are the true crimewave and the real criminal gangs.
You got that right. And besides that, the police force is growing ! There’s always going to be
plenty of doh to keep the people oppressed. Not only that, but they’re militarized! Every day I hear about new
gadgets, drones, surevellaince, weapons, etc.
If I knew the force was shrinking, well I’d have cause to celebrate!
You mean that budget cuts (i.e. austerity) to local governments are causing police layoffs, which is causing a higher crime rate? YOU DON’T SAY!
This is what happens when conservatives get in office – government layoffs, police/fire department layoffs, and lawlessness. Just how the radical right wants it. Chaos and anarchy again – just like in the old West.
No, I rather be bankrupt have a police state as the only way to have a “normal”, “safe” life. (sarcasm)
Crime exists and when economic troubles hit, crime increases. Whoda thunk it. The best thing for government to do is to quit draining all the financial resources from citizens through taxes and fees at the national level and allow local governments use that tax money for local law enforcement and community services.
Or maybe you just want us all to pay more and more taxes to fund a national law enforcement that doesn’t really give a rats ass whether you have proper local law enforcement.
The ONLY law enforcement the federal government should be doing is to maintain an armed forces ONLY for external threats to the nation. They shouldn’t be retasking our troops to “enhance” local law enforcement. That will lead to nothing but trouble and it violates the Posse Comitatus.
If they are giving up on Detroit, I say we give it back to the Native Americans. At least they had respect for the land the city sat on before it was looted and pillaged by the Global Elite and now that they have re-invested in China, they have abandoned the area as it no longer serves their purposes…much like the country of Haiti.
Whenever the government has more takers than makers, one has to expect a decline in all government services. The basic obligations the government has is to provide for infrastructure, a set of laws that apply to all equally and provide the nation with adequate defense from its enemies. Whenever the government acts beyond those functions, it begins to take more and more from its citizens in the form of increased taxation. When the entitled end of the nation exceeds those who contribute, the nation begins its decline. Eventually, all segments of the government begin to run out of money and people resort to crime. End of story!
Its a grand plan to introduce US Military to patrol the streets of America. It took me couple of months to figure it out and now I’m 100% certain that, US military will be on US soil soon.
Its very convenient for them to do that. People will itself want US military due to increasing lawlessness in America. It was all part of the design when they allowed Illegal Immigrants to America and now both local and illegals will be butchered by the military.
Its as clear as a day, when they flash these news all over that cops are low in count and there are 100,000 gang members in some cities etc and the city council declares, lock your doors. False love at its best.
Which, of the many known fascists, said something like.
“The best way to get the people to accept change is to manipulate them to demand it”
If lawless violence endangers us it is only because we allow it. Stand for truth and accept you could well be martyred for it. Die before you die.
This, exactly.
how so very true..most likely sooner than later..I live in St.Pete fl…Macdill AFB is 20 miles away…every day for past week there has been numerous fly over of military helicopters..way out of the norm for Macdill
In the uk police do not bother about petty crime enforcing every little misdemeanour ,but go for easy things like motorists speeding. But commit murder or rape or kidnap or anything involving a gun or knife and the full force of the law is on you. There is a saying “The law is not for trivialities” this cuts down on costs and gives resources for more important crimes which result in heavy punishment, not something with a small fine. unless you are stupid enough to get caught in the act or on camera. The uk having the most street and public place surveillance cameras per person anywhere in the world. Even the smallest shops have them with recording. A local store that sells alcohol and cigarettes in a tourist area just put in a eight camera system with a 32” monitor 24 hour recording. Put security systems in airport in a third world country or embassy to shame! Protects owner and customers robbers know its there and in surrounding streets cant put mask on down the road, because the will trace back where you came from before you put on.
Don’t see anything wrong with that unless you have something to hide.
I think as a law abiding Citizen I feel safer that way.
In 1974 during a speech I made at a symposium when the guest speaker didn’t show, I entitled my remarks “The New Feudal Age,” I predicted with almost unerring accuracy (concerning which many people still write to me – some even visit my home – and discuss) what has happened around the turn of the century just as I said it would. Among these, and the reason for the title I gave my remarks that evening, was the massive need for private security resulted from widespread crime being encouraged by government at all levels.
One of the men who visits me regularly built a career on my remarks, owning now for decades a large private (international) security agency.
Not only elections have their consequences, so does culture – and so does the “salad bowl” (t was I who first used that term – it was 1974 – in my speech) society with which we have replaced the “melting pot” one. I also mentioned in that speech (I had been a cop for seven years only four years before) that rising dependence upon the police – police departments already then being degraded by women and minorities – would not only fail to provided security, but prove to be as big a threat as crime like the developing drug culture.
None of my prediction was difficult – it’s not hard to know what’s going to happen when you see a car going ninety miles an hour with it lights out at night down a dead end street. R.I.P.
I also predicted that nation would break up, states seceding from the union, by the way. I’m right on track with that one, too, it seems (and I’m already hearing from folks who heard me say that, many of whom scoffed – then).
