The Congress and the Senate of the US were long ago given the “power of the purse” to control the flow of funding into all government projects – both disclosed and secret. While congress may only see a “budget entry” on the balance sheet, the funds are none-the-less approved by congress and that allows the funds to flow to these projects to pay their employees, fund their office spaces, purchase needed tech from telephones, to copiers to computers and software. The ONE thing that CONGRESS HAS THE POWER TO DO IS FREEZE THEIR FUNDING pending the satisfactory response to congress about their intent and need for these outrageous purchases of ammo and weapons that appear as though it is intended for use against the American civilian and/or military populations.

Yes! Cut off their funding. Order, by joint resolution of congress and the senate finance committees, all outstanding purchase orders (both ongoing and individual acquisition) null and void and instruct the office of the GSA and the various paymasters to no longer pay one thin dime on any of these PO’s unless and until they are cleared by order of congress/senate.

The safeguard of the “power of the purse” was given to congress and the senate to prevent just such a situation from getting out of control. Whether it is a military coup in the planning or a revolution of some sort being planned within the government – they all require funding to complete their nefarious deeds. Cut off their money until they are willing and able to be forthcoming about these actions and “open wide” and allow congressional and senatorial oversight to take place. National Security is not a concern. These people (in the senate and congress) already have committees set up with the highest possible security clearances and are perfectly able and qualified to hear the details of any present or future “intended” operation of these agencies and their employees.

There it is. Pure and simple. Cut off their money. Do it immediately and on an emergent basis. It could easily be justified on the basis of national security due to the suspicion of a rouge element potentially plotting an overthrow within the government. Until and unless this possibility is completely ruled out – congress and the Senate are within their rights (and in fact acting in the best interests of the nation) in taking such draconian action.

The other “side benefit” is that once this power to stop funding cold is used by Senatorial and Congressional authority against one of these all-too-powerful agencies, ti will send a clear message to all the other federal and stage agencies, that they are subject to oversight – whether they like it or not. Also, if these executives and director level staff of these agencies should end up lying to congress or the Senate during an inquiry, then they should be jailed and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The Senate and Congress have the power. Our forefathers gave them this power in our constitution. It’s time they learned how to use it to protect the citizens of this nation vs protecting their campaign for re-election. There may well be treason afoot in the government itself and this needs to be viewed in the full light of day and decisions made about what should be allowed to continue and what should be stopped immediately. Anything done in secret is usually hidden because no one would tolerate or pay for it, if it were fully disclosed in the light of day. It’s time to turn on the lights and crank them up full brightness  and let the HD cameras roll and let the nation see what these agencies have been doing with untold billions of the nations taxpayer funded largess :!:

I e-mailed Sen. Ayotte and asked two questions, one about dumbo Feinstein gun bill and about the billions of rounds of hollow point ammo. She only answered the first question.

When the House allocates monies since they do hold the purse strings why on earth are they not smart enough to put stipulations and specifically itemize exactly what, which, where monies are spent in each category, per department. You would think someone in the group would demand control of monies against waste and stupidity and any covert evil intentions to do harm. DUH. ??? !!!

It’s 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition, or cartridges, please, stop saying bullets. You sound like a retard who thinks rifles shoot thirty round clips. 1.6 billion rounds, cartridges, or rounds of ammunition. Bullets by themselves are harmless, unless they’re attached to a cartridge casing, filled with powder and primed. That creates ammunition that is now lethal, bullets however, are nothing to worry about if they’re not assembled to make a round.
