Dr Ron Paul has been trying to get Congress to audit the Fed for years.

As we all know, the Fed was established in secret during a congressonal Christmas recess.

According to the official definition, ”Prior to 1913, panics were common occurrences, as investors were unsure about the safety of their deposits. The Federal Reserve Act gave the 12 Federal Reserve banks the ability to print money in order to ensure economic stability. In addition to this task, the Fed had the power to adjust the discount rate/the fed funds rate and buy & sell U.S. treasuries. “

Since 1913, however, the Fed has presided over another panic called ‘The Great Depression”, a monetary inflation of around one percent a year, which mean a dollar today buys what one cent bought in 1913, and the current Great Recession.

A consistent, but hardly laudable track record!

As Dr. Paul’s  House vote on Audit the Fraud (Fed) is now set for this Tuesday!
