The American political circus is mercifully wrapping up, and a new president will soon occupy the most important role on the world stage. As much as the new president would love to hang a “Do Not Disturb” sign on America’s door and focus on tackling domestic dysfunction, numerous conflicts beyond U.S. borders are shooting up flames that threaten to burn door the down if ignored.
