The most recent edition of the Islamic State’s Rumiyah magazine is causing an international stir. Rumiyah, which means “Rome” in Arabic, released its third installment on Nov. 11. The publication appears to have replaced the Islamic State’s Dabiq magazine, likely an attempt on the group’s part to shift its followers’ attention from Dabiq – a Syrian town steeped in religious symbolism that the Islamic State was on the verge of losing – to prophecies centering on Rome.
