4.0 GPA Student Drops Out of College: ‘You Are All Being Scammed!’

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

by Baxter Dmitry, Your News Wire:

At last some college students are catching on to the scam of the century: the ‘education industrial complex’ that keeps driving the price of an education up while offering less and less in return.

Average income is now five times what it was 40 years ago, while the price of a college education has increased 18 times in the same period. Yet the average college degree has never been more useless, preparing the graduate for nothing.

Unless you are doing a targeted degree for a specific ‘real’ career, then you are being conned. There is a reason you cannot use bankruptcy to get rid of student loan debt.

The Mind Unleashed reports:

Billy Williams just finished his first college semester and did so with the all-impressive 4.0 GPA. Instead of celebrating his accomplishments with friends and family, he decided to drop out of college entirely.

Billy made a facebook post that is now going viral in which he explains his reasoning for dropping out:

“Now that I’ve finished my first semester I think it’s safe to say… F*CK COLLEGE. Now before all you of you go batshit crazy… I have a few points to make.

1. Yes I have dropped out after finishing my first semester (with a 4.0 GPA). And it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Not because I am averse to learning, but actually the exact opposite.

2. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED. You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will see it some day. Heck you may have already seen it if you’ve been through college. You are being put thousands into debt to learn things you will never even use. Wasting 4 years of your life to be stuck at a paycheck that grows slower than the rate of inflation. Paying $200 for a $6 textbook. Being taught by teacher’s who have never done what they’re teaching. Average income has increased 5x over the last 40 years while cost of college has increased 18x. You’re spending thousands of dollars to learn information you won’t ever even use just to get a piece of paper. I once even had an engineer tell me “I learned more in my first 30 days working than in my 5 years of college.” What does that tell you about this system? There are about a million more ways you’re being scammed into this.. just watch the video i’m gonna comment if you want to see more.

3. Colleges are REQUIRING people to spend money taking gen. ed. courses to learn about the quadratic formula (and other shit they will never use) when they could be giving classes on MARRIAGE and HOW TO DO YOUR TAXES.

4. Gosh there are so many more reasons I could add, but just comment if you disagree or have reasons to add. I’d love to add to the discussion. TAG a friend in college, Tag your parents, share this if you agree, disagree. Let’s just talk about it. Heck post a picture of yourself flipping off something you think is unjust in our society.”

Billy is right too that the price of college continues to soar.

Ray Franke, a professor of Education at the University of Massachusetts, Boston said:

“If you look at the long-term trend of college tuition, it has been rising almost six percent above the rate of inflation. That’s brought immense pressure from the media and general public, asking whether college is still worth it.”

In 2015, Harvard’s annual tuition and fees (not including room and board) would cost a person $45,278, which is more than 17 times the 1971-72 cost. If annual increases of tuition had simply tracked the inflation rate since 1971, 2016’s tuition would be just $15,189.

According to CNBC, college enrollment peaked in 2011, and has been decreasing ever since. This is no doubt in part to a family’s ability to pay the tuition, room and board and other related expenses. For example, in order to pay for a year of college at Harvard today would take the median household income nearly one year of paychecks. Back in 1971, it would have taken about 13 weeks of paychecks per the household median income.

Today the student debt is over $1.26 trillion dollars with over 44 million Americans in debt from student loans. 2016’s graduates on average are over $36,000 dollars in debt, which is up 6% from just one year ago.

What can be done to alleviate this situation? Why do banks get bailed out (2008 Lehman crisis) for cheating the world, while students must continue to pay a debt? Why is a private institution (The Federal Reserve) in charge of this nation’s money and finances? How will students continue to be able to go to college when the price continues to skyrocket as the federal minimum wage stays stuck at $7.25 an hour? At some point soon, the masses won’t take it anymore from the banking cartel. The education system is in for some major changes very soon.

Your best one yet! (and least annoying)

The edumacation system in the U.S. and much of the world is so corrupt, it makes an episode of the “Simpsons” look like a treatise on social engineering.

I’ll take an honest crook over a dishonest loop hole exploiter every time….like this Brad Gluckman for instance…

Unfortunately it won’t make a difference. Any sentient creature KNOOOOWS that the quality of EDU hasn’t improved and that the so called bastions of higher learning are so TOP heavy in administrative over head that tuition is essentially a subsidy for clerical level white collar employees….And you can’t blame them for getting into that type of occupation. The blame, once again, is at the tippy top of the executive ladder. I mean, come on!, Some of these loser execs are making half a million dollars a year, and I don’t mean Harvard, for what? For BS, MS, & PHD…Piled High Daily. F- them! A “rose by any other name” in their case a turd. Not to mention that we’re looking at another ancillary effect of abundant, loose credit…The more $ in the system leads to inflation etc. Etc. Etc. Took my naive a$$ 10 years to pay off my loans…Those mother f-ers. 😠😠😠

        I woke up years ago.
If I was a young man right now, I would work for a few years and live in a rented room while saving up for a significant payment on a house.
After that I would do a year of the cheapest classes I could find in HVAC, followed by classes in electrical work ( or better yet, join a union and do an appretice program while working) then plumbing ( again, apprenticeship).
I didn’t need to do those things , I am good at self education and learned HVAC by simply figuring out how my air conditioning works. Most HVAC repairs are far simpler than most men realize.
I have had a years tech school in electronics, which helped me a great deal to teach myself HVAC.

I haven’t hired a repairman to come to my house in 30 years.

I learned all the shops that sell directly to repairmen , and have been able to talk them into selling me parts at their wholesale price most of the time.
Aside from, I have gotten a hell of an education by asking them questions.
At the HVAC supply place I go to, every time I have been there I have explained my problem to the guy working the desk, and invariably there are 2-3 repairmen there buying stuff who chime in and are more than willing to show of their expertise to me.

A clever man can learn anything he wants, without paying anyone to teach it to him.

And consider this: Even if you fuck your wifes dryer up learning to fix it and need to buy parts a few times before you get it right, you STILL aren’t going to spend as much as you would by calling someone, and you get a free education in how to fix it while figuring it out.

nicely said, there is no teacher greater than experience – what we learn in school is nothing more than proficient parroting

I graduated magna cum laude with a BA in intergrated studies with a GPA of 3.9. It was the biggest waste of time and money I’ve ever spent. College might be useful if going into the hard sciences, but otherwise it’s a freaking joke.

      • Morgana Le Fay

My areas of focus were psychology, sociology, and social work; and yea, the level of propaganda and indoctrination they attempt to fill your head with is beyond absurd.

And in terms of writing and creativity…they certainly know how to suck out any last vestige you have of either and destroy it.

I quite agree. College is the biggest scam of our times, and it is polluting the young with a lot of dangerous ideas. Spread the word!

PS: You leave very incisive comments! Season’s Greetings!

key point, today all degrees are useless if they are in a flooded field. that includes lawyers, medicine and business. and a general business degree is nothing. it can be a backbone and useful but it can also be self-taught. you must train yourself up for a niche in a field. whether it be via college, trade school or the traditional ladder approach. you must single yourself above the rest. you must perfect your skill so that you are beyond raproach. that goes for the noodle or burrito cart all the way up to the tech world.

      • Andy

        that, and follow your passion

        • FringeStuff

          Hahahahahaha.. There is no escape!

    • Rockledge

College is just another “capitalist” scam.
Just like dentists, medical insurance and industry, lawyers, and undertakers.

The reality is if a kid gets out of high school and struggles to find that rare fair wage job, and lives on a shoe string for 4 years on bare necessities, then uses the saved money to buy a house, by the time he is 30 he could have the house paid for and be essentially set up for life by being free of a mortgage.
As opposed to going to school for a number of years racking up a kings ransom in bills that he pays on until he is a grandfather, and being forever indebted ( or more accurately , enslaved) to banks and the corporate work force. And even after school struggling to find a job that pays a living wage.

I’ve had a significant amount of formal education. My last college experience was about 20 years ago. I found it to be a mostly useless form of indoctrination. Feminism was rampant. It was a strange mix of an undercurrent of the bad things about both the liberal and conservative mindsets.
I felt like I was being indoctrinated with information intended to make me a good slave rather than being enlightened about the world around me.
God knows in the 20 years since those traits of “formal education” have being even more dominant.

If you are a young man and want to succeed, educate yourself while busting your ass and living like a hobo for long enough to save up the money for a down payment on a basic house. Learn to do everything it takes to maintain a house, plumbing, electrical, construction. Learn to repair everything in a house, even though household goods and tools are made to be more easily replaceable than repairable, you can still repair them ( I do all the time).

Formal education makes you fit to fit into big brothers work force, and molds you into a good slave.

Directly learning how to do everything for yourself, including raising meat and growing edible plants, and owning a piece of ground with a house on it, will make you largely self sufficient.

I do all of my own plumbing, electrical, and build most of my own furniture. I have built three outbuildings on my property, all tax free labor. I save more money each year than most american men take home after their insane tax bill.

Think about this: If you call a repairman to fix your wifes washer, how much is it likely to cost? I am betting a minimum of 100 bucks, likely far more. But you don’t only pay that 100 bucks. Because to get that 100 bucks, you had to actually draw a paycheck of likely twice that.
If you fix it yourself, you save not only the repair bill, you also save the taxes on the income you had in order to get the amount of cash of the repair bill.
Most of the time when my wifes washer quits it is because of a few little plastic cams on the agitator that wear out. They costed me about 5 bucks a set ( I bought a half dozen sets to get a break on the price about 10 years ago). It takes me about a half hour to replace them. A repairman would charge me at least 60 bucks for a repair trip and then an exorbitant amount for the actual repair, as well as a highly inflated price for the parts.

And I don’t owe any goddamned student loans.

The bottom line is, a man does not prosper by working for others. He prospers by what he does with the time he is not enslaved to the system.

College is for being a good slave. Self education and ambition to use it is for freedom.

Americans have been getting screwed way longer than most realize!

The United States is not a land or a place: ‘It is a corporation, a legal fiction that existed well before the Revolutionary War.’ [See: Republica v. Sween, 1 Dallas 43 and 28 U. S. C. 3002 (15)]

One thing the Founding Fathers did not know, was that all of the Kings lands and all future acquisitions such as the AMERICAS, had been given and pledged by King John to Pope Innocent III and the Holy Roman Church, by the Treaty of 1213. After that fact was proven to the Founding Fathers; King George and representatives from the Vatican; decided to use the Constitutional draft created by the Founding Fathers, to further their plan to control the Colonists! Control attained by bringing the Colonists to their knees in debt!

They changed each of us from “a sovereign” into “a corporate fiction.” Your corporate name is easily identifiable, in that it is expressed in all capital letters on all your documents and all communications received from every government agency!

The reason for converting every Sovereign American into a corporate fiction dates back to the Principal of Law under the King! The King is a Sovereign Monarch and dictator, who by his authority, creates the laws that govern his subjects. He is the Source of Law and therefore the law cannot be enforced against him! In America, the Source of Law is the Sovereign People and therefore no laws can be enforced against the Source, except for those specifically agreed to or defined by the original Constitution. Those laws are defined as Theft, Assault and Criminal Mischief; but since the Colonists never voted on the Constitution, none of these offenses are enforceable against a living Sovereign! They are enforceable however against a corporation or corporate fiction!

Your birth certificate is a receipt of goods coming off a ship. What ship? The U.S. Citizen Ship. The courts have been operating illegally under maritime admiralty law. The law of the sea, the holy see that the vatican controls

You were even traded on the stock market as a commodity

Income taxes are unconstitutional, but they aren’t going by the constitution. Paying income tax is a VOLUNTARY system. Don’t believe me? Go ask an attorney or CPA to quote you the exact law that states you must pay income tax. They will not be able to because it does not exist. (i’ve been a paralegal for 13 years)

As a United States Citizen or a “person”, did you know that you do not LEGALLY own anything? That is right!

You do not legally own your body, name, land, home, cars, clothes, kids and money. This is why government agents can legally take your kids and property or throw you in jail for violating their so-called “laws”. Slaves can’t own property.

According to Senate Document 43, 73rd Congress 1st Session, all property of United States Citizens is owned by the State. Below is an excerpt of a paragraph from Senate Document 43 that openly admits this fact.

The ultimate ownership of all property is in the State; individual so-called “ownership” is only by virtue of Government, i.e. law, amounting to mere user; and use must be in accordance with law, and subordinate to the necessities of the State.

To read the whole Senate Document 43 (PDF) document, click the first link below

As a United States Citizen, you own no property because you are considered a legal person, which is an artificial or dead person. A dead or artificial person can not own property because it is not living.

The legal system tricks you to agree to be a legal person by deceiving you to participate in the legal name fraud. As a United States Citizen, you are also an enemy and a slave of the State.

I have a degree in electrical engineering from a state university and it is useless. Most companies are hiring foreign workers(h1-b) over american state university graduates. This is not an opinion but a fact. If you are lucky and went to a private university and your daddy is in the one of the many occult groups you might get to manage some of the foriegn workers. America doesn’t turn out any productsany more design or manufacture. Most of the startups in the bay area are investment scams stealing money from the uppper middle class. I did an interview on the apple watch team as a designer and there were two americans on their team and the other six guys were foreign and could barely speak english. And the english speaking guys were so blinded by hubris I wanted to vomit. Wonder why their latest update for watch os was bricking watches???

Think you can buy a house hahaha. Not anymore.. want to become a debt slave for 30 years? You can’t move either or you will have to shortsale because the housing market is so bad. You are basically wasting your time and money and giving the house to those who have rigged the realestate market.

America is already dead. We are forced into state education at six years old. Churned into the propaganda machine to become drunks and drug addicts. If you go to college and your daddy is not already in the club then you just wasted your youth with prussian learning non-sense.

Our every move is tracked and recorded by at least 10 different organizations not just the government. They use this to further manipulate you and your family into being slaves for the system.

Think you are gonna start your own business??? Hahahaha….there are gate keepers ready to deny the common people access at every turn.

Think you are gonna make a difference and work on alternative energy. Be prepared for the NSA to gangstalk, poison, and harass you, your family, and your friends.

Think you’ll just be working class and retire one day. Hahaha.. 50% of people over 65 have debilitating brain dimentia. How convenient that the retirement age is 62. THink your gonna live longer because we are in modern times. Hahahah. There are more chemicals in every product you own that is manufactured at the lowest possible cost with out regard to health safety. Look up couch and mattress degassing. That alone is enought to shorten your life significantly. Can you afford a 6000 dollar custom mattress?

We can all thank the industrial revolution for the modern form of slavery where it is no longer racial based slavery but genetic and class based. Mass production kills the opportunity for ever family to have there own business to provide for them. All the wealth goes into the pockets of the few owners and we are all slaves with limited choices of our own.

      • Rockledge

        Small business is bullshit.
Small businesses are nothing more than money filters for corporations.
A small business can have hundreds of thousands of dollars pass through it in a year only for the owner to be lucky to make 50k. DAMN lucky.

The only smart workers in this country are hookers and drug dealers, and those intelligent enough to run a business with no need for the system who know how to keep 2 sets of books, and all those flying beneath the radar.
This is not a land where playing by the rules gets you anything but tired and broke.

In general, it is a total scam with academia elite making themselves disgustingly rich in the process…

I mentor young adults in my field and over the last decade it has become almost standard for them to get masters degrees. I spend a year or two teaching them what used to be considered common sense skills that will make them successful – communication, time management, assertiveness, and teamwork – how to grow while they help everyone else they work with.

Their degrees are not completely worthless, but I believe that I can take anybody with what we used to consider high school graduate skills and if they are willing to work hard, listen, and stay positive – within 6 years they will be so much further ahead of the collegiate counterparts that they will be above and ahead of them for many years to come… after a while things level out, and I will admit that the MBA does help you break through the glass ceiling if you want to be an executive at a fortune 500 company, but its no guarantee and still can’t compete with hard work and perseverance.

      • FringeStuff

Make sure you brush your teeth morning and night, polish your shoes, iron your clothes, prepare your hair properly, wear deodorant, and avoid fatty and sugary foods. But its no guarantee:) Come on… don’t lie to people you know deep down there is no hope and the youth should put any dreams beyond survival in a waste basket. I have worked at over ten companies in silicon valley and if you have any moral fiber and think hard work and persevereance are going to do something when you watch people do illegal and unethical things you are setting yourself up for a big dissapointment or daily torture.

Trump should change the law and let them all go bankrupt and send these cons a message they will never forget. I always believed in vocation schools and on the job training apprenticeships.

I voted for President Trump, but he is obviously going to have ecomic and social views much as reagan did. Pretty much a “let them eat cheese” mindset.

Which means he is going to be all out de-regulation. Which is to say, let business treat people as it damned well pleases.

My son finished high school last year with a 4.75 weighted GPA, he had been a straight A student since 8th grade; and when I say straight A’s, I mean straight f*cking A’s. I couldn’t believe the report cards. I had never seen real straight A’s, heard of people getting them, but my own son? Yet he did. He got straight A’s.
That being said… My son started getting letters from colleges in the 11th grade, by the 12th grade, he was getting real college offers. I mean full rides to some of the top schools in the nation. He graduated high school as the student body president and valedictorian. He wound up getting a multitude of scholarships such as one for being the SBP, another called the Millennial scholarship, another one was for being valedictorian, along with FAFSA, etc.
He started college in late August, and dropped out after this last semester. He absolutely couldn’t stand the indoctrination, the hardcore liberal atmosphere, and that it was all a money grabbing scam. He just flat out said, “Dad, I’m sorry, but I would rather flip burgers than go to that money grabbing indoctrination center one more day”.
      It really is a scam.
