Trump’s First Major Disappointment – Aggression Towards Iran

Missing like a sore thumb in Trump’s list of nations banned from entering the USA, is Saudi Arabia.

Also glaringly obvious is that the countries on the list are the same countries listed in General Wesley Clark’s planned wars over five years, though it appears they are behind schedule. Syria is still standing while Lebanon and Iran remain, though Yemen has been added to the list. Here is a quote:

So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, “Are we still going to war with Iraq?” And he said, “Oh, it’s worse than that.” He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, “I just got this down from upstairs” — meaning the Secretary of Defense’s office — “today.” And he said, “This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.” I said, “Is it classified?” He said, “Yes, sir.” I said, “Well, don’t show it to me.” And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, “You remember that?” He said, “Sir, I didn’t show you that memo! I didn’t show it to you!”

By now the whole world is very familiar with this interview and the conclusion that any rational person has to come to,  is that  the people who live in these countries that have been or still have to be targeted are as well. Any terrorism that occurs in the USA originating from these countries could quite reasonably be put down to blow back. Though the Western media seems to believe that self-defense and retaliation against a blatant campaign to destroy these countries is for some reason, unethical.

In this cognitively dissonant theme, the fact is that all the “terrorists,” whom Trump has vowed to wipe from the face of the earth, are predominately Wahhabi, Muslim Brotherhood and protected, funded, armed and supported by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as by Turkey, Jordan, Germany, France, UK and the USA itself. But these facts  have not entered the narrative out of the White House in the last week in all the furore that has surrounded the Executive Order on a Travel ban from these countries that was first compiled under the Obama administration in 2015.

Nothing has been said about Saudi Arabia, Turkey or even Pakistan, all incubators of Islamic State extremists, who are determined to establish a Caliphate extending across North Africa and the Middle East and brining the Shia crescent under their full control and the implementation of Sharia law. If the last six years of atrocities in Nigeria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Syria are anything to go by, the future prospects of the whole region do not look very bright. So called dictators like Gaddafi and Assad begin to look like holy men in comparison.

Without going into all the background history of the US and UK attempts over the years of engineered coups in Iran, finally sanctions were lifted off of that country and the UN Atomic Agency gave the country a clean bill of health.

Iran has also played a major role in fighting Islamic State in Iraq and Syria while the rest of the world turned a blind eye. Very few acknowledged, as Tulsi Gabbard recently did, CIA involvement when she entered a Bill to stop illegal wars.  From Zero Hedge: 

Gabbard has apparently had just about enough of Washington vacillating in the fight against terror just so the US can ensure that ISIS continues to destabilize Assad and now, with bi-partisan support, the brazen Hawaii Democrat has introduced legislation to end the “illegal war” to overthrow Assad.
