Mysterious Object Flying Over Atlantic Confounds F/A-18 Pilots; ‘What the F**k Is That?’ (Video)

Unidentified and Flying: U.S. Navy pilots were amazed and confounded after encountering an unidentified flying object over the Atlantic Ocean recently that sped away with other-worldly speed.

The pilots were flying in an F/A-18 fighter jet at about 25,000 feet when they encountered the craft.

The U.S. government has released a sensational two-minute clip of the encounter, which proves that the Pentagon needs to take UFOs much more seriously, one researcher said, according to the New York Post.

“What the f— is that thing?” the fighter pilot shouted in the video, which was posted online by the To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science, a private research company.

“Oh my gosh dude!” the jet’s weapons systems officer responded.

The video was shot somewhere off the U.S. East Coast in 2015. The academy did not say how the footage — which was declassified — was obtained. However, the research firm said others could obtain it via a Freedom of Information Act request.

The Post noted further:

Three videos showing similar incidents became public last year in reports of $22 million in Pentagon spending on UFO research.

The videos, along with observations by pilots and radar operators, “appear to provide evidence of the existence of aircraft far superior to anything possessed by the United States or its allies,” writes Christopher Mellon, a former defense official in the George W. Bush and Clinton administrations and an adviser to To the Stars Academy.

In an op-ed for The Washington Post, Mellon said the Pentagon continues to encounter UFOs but knows little more about them because it does not thoroughly investigate them.

Mellon, who has served as an intelligence official for the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations, accused the military and various intel agencies of treating “such incidents as isolated events rather than part of a pattern requiring serious attention and investigation.”

He also wonders if the U.S. has been “technologically leap-frogged by Russia or China,” or whether the videos are “evidence of some alien civilization.”

“Unfortunately, we have no idea, because we aren’t even seeking answers,” he wrote.
