If not as a parent & some other parents, you go to see the teacher or principal all together & have a ROBUST conversation with teacher/principal with the help of a baseball bat!

Yeah a baseball bat for a solution. Someone should hit you in the head with one and put some sense in it. Now we know how you discipline your family and children.
Get a life? Homeschool is the richest and most rewarding family life ever dreamed. But be warned, it is not for the feint of heart. Be prepared to pick up the towel that keeps getting thrown in — again and again. Certainly don’t expect any glory or social approval — though it defies the imagination why everyone doesn’t do it.
When everyone is back in the classroom in September, hit the empty beaches, bays & tide pools with your family, notebooks, a rubber dinghy with snorkels and a picnic. Take a real look at the life at on the bottom, identify and draw then write. Hit another ecosystem next week . . . .
Read aloud about the Antarctic expedition of Ernest Shackleford in Endurance, high schoolers and grade schoolers all enjoying that white knuckle adventure together . . . . etcetera! (besides bookwork…)

We didn’t have the beaches, but we had nature walks, cooking, and real life.
We raised turtles from eggs we rescued from the side of the road. I can imagine mom snapper laid them there because years before the roadside was NOT being graded because it had not been there at all. She looked quite old and large when I spotted her. We studied up on it and hatched out over a dozen, loosing two eggs.
We had a great time teaching and learning.
It did not seem to fly by as some state because we did everything together.
The biggest advantage was they were taught everything from Jesus’ perspective.
Including how to think for themselves and to realize they had a Rock solid Foundation on which to view and judge life.
