THE MEETING – PRESENT DAY – DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
In a secret meeting room at Burj Khalifa AKA the Khalifa Tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a meeting is taking between 3 costumed men, they are the Demon Warrior, the Legendary Dark Silhouette (LDS) and Dynamo of the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents. Dynamo has flown the Demon Warrior and LDS in a Learjet Constitution to this exotic locale for this meeting in regard to Project IDW Universe. Learjet was provided by the United Nations, who supports the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents in their worldly saving exploits.

THE DEMON WARRIOR SPEAKS:
Before I was a full time paranormal investigator, writing my own paranormal books about our HPI (Haunted and Paranormal Investigations International) investigations, I was heavy in the comic book industry conducting interviews with comic book creators and reviewing comic books! My comic book website is Jazma Online! www.jazmaonline.com – in which my Vice President Richard Vasseur and CEO Alan Klingelhoets still conduct interviews and do reviews. Webmaster Warren Montgomery keeps the site up and running. I have always had a passion for comic books, but I also have a passion for the paranormal. The paranormal outweighed the comic books, when it came to time consumption. With all of the investigations and articles I do for the paranormal, I just don’t have too much time to sit and read a good comic book. But, there is one exception; I will make time for IDW. I will read their comic books; I will review their comic books. Why? Because the incredible writers, publishers and artists at IDW are a bunch of geniuses. They have taken their Hollywood franchised comic books and interconnected their universes with one incredible story called Infestation! Zombies infest the Star Trek universe and also infect the reality of the Real Ghostbusters! I kid you not and there is more to tell. This is every fan boy’s dream of seeing their favorite characters connected in a strange, but bizarre way. A way that is very believable. This is not fan fiction; this is a historical crossover that has people talking all over the Internet. Move over crossovers such as Predator vs. Alien or Jason vs. Freddie. This is more beyond, more further out that you can ever imagine. It has me excited as I write this.

The Legendary Dark Silhouette (LDS): Dynamo, I am glad you are here with us. I am so pleased that your legendary exploits will be told by IDW Comics. Dynamo, can you please tell us about some of the Mars Attacks crossovers that they have at IDW?

Dynamo: Sure LDS, do you mind if I call you LDS? It would be much easier for me.

LDS: Sure no problem, most people do.

Dynamo: Well first off Mars Attacks is a great comic book series. Who doesn’t like those crazy Martians? This January 16, 2013 Mars Attacks the Real Ghostbusters! They will save New Jersey from this red threat…well, hopefully! Oops! I forgot to mention that Mars Attacks KISS on January 9, 2013. So there you have it Mars Attacks Martians will interact with KISS and the real Ghostbusters, now ain’t that a hoot!

Demon Warrior: Wasn’t there a crossover also with Popeye?

Dynamo: Yes, believe it or not, Mars Attacks Popeye, that was a crossover I will never forget. Who would of thought?

LDS: That is absolutely nuts, but I love it! But now with Infestation, we have a major crossover with various realities. The infestation is zombies and more zombies and even more zombies that go into the realities of Star Trek, Transformers, GI Joes, The Real Ghostbusters, 30 Days of Night, Dungeons and Dragons Eberron, Danger Girl, Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles! The storyline absolutely works and that is why IDW is known to have creative talents that are recognized as geniuses! It’s like having Stephen Hawking working the storyboard, Bill Gates on script and da Vinci doing the art! Absolute geniuses at work at IDW, to make this all happen. This is comic book history!

Dynamo Reads Off a Statement by IDW:
Launching in May, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION/DOCTOR WHO: ASSIMILATION2 will feature fan-favorite villains the Borg and the Cybermen as they create an unholy alliance resulting in potential disaster for all humanity. Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise find themselves joining forces with the Doctor and his companions, with the fate of the galaxy hanging in the balance.

We are excited about this new adventure for the Doctor and the fact that he will be traveling with Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his iconic crew. This is a perfect partnership for not only Doctor Who’s incredible fans, but also for the brand. We have just celebrated our most successful year yet. Doctor Who’s latest season delivered record ratings for BBC AMERICA and it was most downloaded full TV seasons of 2011 in the U.S. on the iTunes Store,” says Soumya Sriraman, executive vice president Home Entertainment and Licensing.

A first in the company’s history, IDW Publishing is proud to announce INFESTATION! Starting in January 2011, INFESTATION will infect Star Trek, Ghostbusters, TRANFORMERS and G.I. JOE comics with zombies, zombies, and more zombies. Kicking off January 2011, fan-favorite writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (The Thanos Imperative, Legion of Super-Heroes) and artist David Messina (True Blood) begin this multi-dimensional saga with INFESTATION #1. This initial 32-page story begins in IDW’s own ZOMBIES VS. ROBOTS universe, where something goes terribly wrong and ultimately infests the worlds of TRANSFORMERS, STAR TREK, G.I. JOE, and GHOSTBUSTERS with zombies and infected robots. From there, the story spins ferociously into each of the four properties throughout February and March, and culminates in April’s bombastic finale, INFESTATION #2.

The adventure continues in February with TRANSFORMERS: INFESTION #1 and #2, and STAR TREK: INFESTATION #1 and #2. Each bi-weekly series pits star characters against hordes of the undead, courtesy of major comic’s creators.

Infestation is the culmination of many months of planning, running through various what-if scenarios and basically looking for ways to upend our many established universes,” said Chris Ryall, IDW’s Chief Creative Officer. “All for the greater good of telling an exciting, multi-layered story and building toward new developments in the future, of course. RE: STAR TREK/DOCTOR WHO CROSSOVER!
This eight-issue series will be written by Scott and David Tipton, the authors of critically acclaimed Star Trek: Infestation, with a helping hand from longtime Doctor Who writer Tony Lee, and will feature fully painted artwork by J.K. Woodward (Fallen Angel).

Fans are encouraged to ask their retailers about the rare wraparound photo cover. Plus, artist Joe Corroney (Star Trek Ongoing) will provide a variant cover featuring the Doctor and friends aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Doctor Who and Star Trek are two hugely successful franchises that began as television series, and have expanded into a number of other media, including comic books, which continue to captivate fans all over the world. Nearly five decades and 1,500 episodes in the making, this is the moment that both Trekkers and Whovians have waited for all their lives!

San Diego, CA (December 18, 2012) – IDW Publishing announced to a full house at this year’s New York Comic Con that they’ve acquired the rights to publish the exploits of the legendary band of super-powered heroes, the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. AGENTS!

First published in 1965, the fan-favorite team has seen their exploits published by Tower, JC, Deluxe, and DC Comics and been written and drawn by a virtual who’s-who of comic industry titans. The diverse cast of Agents have seen their share of adventures over the years -including DC’s well-received run most recently – but IDW is excited at the opportunity to put their stamp on the legendary team.

“I’m thrilled that IDW will be bringing its extraordinary talents and craft to producing everything from beautiful omnibus volumes to bold and cutting-edge new comic book titles based on T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Dynamo: Now that we are done reading statements from IDW, let’s get down to the real business. LDS and Demon Warrior, you have some ideas in controlling the zombie outbreak?

Demon Warrior: No, not really, why do you ask?

Dynamo: That is the real purpose of this meeting. I wanted to see if you and LDS had some ideas on controlling this Infestation.

Demon Warrior: I haven’t really dealt with too many zombies, I usually do ghosts, demons, poltergeist, Bigfoot and occasional Chupacabra and of course UFOs.

Dynamo: Then why did I bring you all the way over here for our meeting?

LDS: I thought we were going to talk about IDW comic books?

Dynamo: You got to be kidding? Let’s all get back on the plane, I’m taking you both home.

Demon Warrior: On the flight home..do you have the salty peanuts…the last batch were unsalted?

Dynamo (shakes his head): Why me? Why me? Sigh.

REVIEWS OF THE LAST STAND AND ZERO DARK THIRTY:
January 19, 2013, Saturday: Leslie Robinson Jones and I – on this night went to see Zero Dark Thirty and The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger at UA Laguna Village 12, Elk Grove. Armed with buttered popcorn, Diet Coke, Red Vines & a hotdog we were ready to watch these two movies. Arnold may have not been a spectacular governor, but his acting skills are still over the top. There were definitely chills and thrills in this movie. The movie even had some dark humorous moments. One scene, a villain explodes and his body parts are flung in the air and an arm falls on one of the good guys. Arnold still has what it takes to make a good action movie. He is old, but he is still a good action hero. Zero Dark Thirty really explains on how our CIA started the chase for Osama Bin Laden after 9/11 and how one woman CIA interrogator determined the compound where Osama was hiding at. She pushed and pushed to get an elite force (the Navy Seals) in there to kill him. I enjoyed the part where the CIA takes the Navy Seals to Area 51 in Nevada to show them some of their Black Ops programs utilizing black stealth helicopters for the raid. There were a few slow parts in the movie, but the movie kept you on the edge-of-your-seat, because you wanted to know what will happen next. Bravo to both movies!
