Shocking List Of Chemicals Used In Fracking!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

FracFocus is a website where companies are

supposedly allowed to disclose what chemicals

they are using in Fracking. Understand, this isn’t the

fracking that has been around for year that didn’t

work, but a method where bacteria is sent down the well,

and as the bacteria reproduces, it creates

pressure within the hole, and cracks the shale, which releases the trapped gas. The bacteria assimilates

with this gas, and is prevelant in the backflow, The backflow is where they filter out the gas, and the bacteria

laden water sit in “backflow ponds”. How much of this deadly bacteria remains in the gas collected has never

been determined, so who knows what we are releasing into the environment when we burn this gas, let alone the backflow water.

Here, we report on the geochemical and microbiological properties of frac and flowback waters from two newly drilled natural gas wells in the Barnett Shale in North Central Texas. Most probable number studies showed that biocide treatments did not kill all the bacteria in the fracturing fluids”

Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK

Armed with that knowledge, now review the list of disclosed chemicals.

And for those who are saying this is creating cheap gas, helping the environment by not burning coal, and making us independant, when is the last time your gas bill went down?

No, what we have, is a bunch of people getting sick from this.

When the Parr family started having serious health problems late in 2008, they had no idea it was associated with what they call “a multitude” of drilling operations that popped up near their 40-acre ranch in Decatur, 60 miles northwest of Dallas.

At first, Lisa Parr dismissed her migraine headaches, nausea and dizziness as the flu, but when her symptoms persistently got worse, she knew something more serious was involved.

“By 2009, I was having a multitude of problems,” Lisa Parr told CNN. “My central nervous system was messed up. I couldn’t hear, and my vision was messed up. My entire body would shake inside. I was vomiting white foam in the mornings.”

In 2009, Lisa’s husband, Robert, and their 11-year-old daughter, Emma, also became ill, suffering a laundry-list of symptoms.

“They had nosebleeds, vision problems, nausea, rashes, blood pressure issues. Being that the wells were not on our property, we had no idea that what they were doing on the property around us was affecting us,” she said.

What’s scary, is the bacteria is synthetic bacteria made in labs, so who knows if it can be killed. For all we know, there could be a giant “organism” growing underground from this.
