With yet another shock defection from the Conservative Party last week, there is clear evidence that Ukip is growing more and more momentum. With another MP, this time Mark Reckless, deciding to resign his seat and fight a by-election under the Ukip banner – it now begs the question: Is voting Ukip a protest vote anymore?

Previously the decision to vote Ukip may have been written off by the traditional Westminster parties as such a protect – but is that the case anymore? Discussing this relevant topic will be Cllr Sean Anstee (Leader, Trafford Council), Matthew Elliot (Chief Executive, Business for Britain), Bill Etheridge MEP (Ukip, West Midlands), Tim Newark (Author of ‘Protest Vote’), and Paul Staines (Guido Fawkes).
