My Experience with Using Woodhaven Party Hall in Queens, New York

My Wife and I hold annual ministry meetings in various places in the US. We have held events for many years. Usually, we will know someone in the state that we plan the gathering. However, some of the experiences we have had were not what they promised to be.

To be honest, we were kind of burned out on trying new venues. As a matter-of-fact, a couple of places didn’t even have working plumbing. Other venues just weren’t very nice to gaze upon. So we are really picky as far as venues are concerned. A couple of members had gotten together and planned an event in NY. I for one did not have any contacts in NY at that time. 

That is a problem for me knowing that is my job to prepare the venue. I was thinking that maybe we should shoot for some other state. Yet, NY was the only state we have not met, as of yet. I have many family members from NY, but they all moved to Georgia. I called my aunt and asked her if she knew of a place in or close to Queens. To my amazement, she told me of a really great Banquet hall by the name of Woodhaven Party Hall.

I was ecstatic to give them a try. I looked them us and they are located on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park. That sounded like a great, high-end place to hold a gathering. I called the number on the website and the answer was almost immediate. The gentleman who answered was courteous and had a great sense of customer service that I was not used to when booking a venue. Usually, I was cut off and forced into a rental before I had made a decision. 

With WoodHaven, I was not treated like a customer but was treated like an old friend. These are qualities I look for when booking an event like the ones I hold. As I told the man what I was looking for, he was quick to answer all of my concerns, promptly. After we were finished, he gave me his rates, and I was shocked. Not only was his promised genuine, but his rates were affordable. I recommend this venue highly, we had a great time and the catering was also epic as well.
