Amazon UK Services Ltd was found guilty by a jury at Southwark Crown Court this week of four counts relating to the carriage of dangerous goods on aircraft under air navigation regulations
Two of the counts related to lithium ion batteries and two related to flammable aerosols.
The four charges, which covered a period from November 2013 to June 2015, related to intended shipments within and out of the UK – although all items were intercepted prior to them being loaded on board any aircraft.
