American Electric Technologies, Inc (NASDAQ:AETI) is to provide a turnkey power delivery solution for a land-fill gas reclamation project in the USA.

The company said its M&I Electric business will provide a service that includes an M&I Power Distribution Center with medium voltage switch-gear, medium voltage motor controllers, low voltage motor control centers, transformers and other ancillary power distribution equipment.

The high British thermal unit land-fill gas project is being deployed at a regional recycling and disposal facility in the Midwest United States that provides safe and convenient disposal services for communities, businesses and industries serving.  Instead of the land-fill gas being disposed of and wasted via flaring, it will be transported via a pipeline and sold to an external party.

“This project exemplifies our mission of ‘Empowering Energy’ and continues to show our progress in delivering customized, turnkey solutions for challenging energy industry project,” claimed Charles Dauberm, president and chief executive officer.

M&I expects to deliver the turnkey solution in the first quarter of 2017.
