I was at game 7 in Cleveland. It was gut wrenching. So fun. I cannot believe that the Cubs are World Champs. There is a lot that can be written and will be written about the Cubs. However, I think that the experience is intensely personal.
It’s great for Chicago and all that. But, it shows that a person who has been alive for exactly 50% of the Streak of Futility can experience something new.
For me, I really loved it when the Bulls won. When the Bears won it was okay. When the Hawks won it was great. But, I am more of a basketball and baseball fan. I am a Cub fan, and was happy with for Sox fans.
I don’t understand the Sox fans that are bitter. I hope they can be happy, and spur their owners to create a great team. Eventually, it would be awesome to see a Subway Series in Chicago. That will be a true sign of the apocalypse.
This is something special and I have no idea what it means. We are driving home right now. Still feeling it.
