Tango Mining produces 61.4 carats from Oena mine in latest month

Tango Mining Ltd (CVE:TGV) updated investors on recent diamond activity from the Oena mine in South Africa, where 28 diamonds were produced between May 20 and June 20.

In that period, a total of 61.4 carats were produced and 53.4 carats were placed on tender in Johannesburg and sold with an average price of US$1,490 per carat.

The balance was sold to the state diamond trader.

Diamond production from Oena, since it was acquired, now totals 1,365 carats that have been sold at an average price of US$1,188 per carat.

The top two highest value stones recovered during this period include a 20.7-carat diamond which sold at US$7,210 per carat and a 10.4-carat diamond which sold at US$1,544 per carat.
