FedEx, Toys 'R' Us, AutoZone, Steelcase and more - PRE-MARKET

With US shares seen continuing their run higher, several stocks are moving in pre-market deals, generally due to their results.

FedEx Corp (NYSE:FDX) shares are up a smidge – 0.01% to $215.11 ahead of the delivery giant posting its quarterly numbers after the bell.

The ‘street’ expects the firm to post quarterly earnings at $3.16 per share on revenue of $15.40bn.

Elsewhere, AutoZone Inc (NYSE:AZO) shares added over 4% after hours to US$$586 ahead of its quarterly numbers.

The group is expected to report earnings of $15.14 per share on revenue of $3.49bn before the bell.

Another riser after hours was furniture company Steelcase Inc (NYSE:SCS), which added over 5.5% to US$15.15  after irt posted better than expected results for the second quarter on Monday.

Apogee Enterprises Inc (NASDAQ:APOG) shares closed higher on Monday (0.40% up) but were unchanged after hours.

It is reportedly expected to report quarterly earnings at $0.71 per share on revenue of $349.97 million.

A news story dominating is from Toys ‘R’ Us, which has reportedly filed for bankruptcy protection in the US and Canada as it tries to restructure debts.

The  firm has struggled to compete against larger rivals such as Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN).
