Renaissance Gold reveals follow up drilling has started at Jupiter project, Nevada

Prospect generator group Renaissance Gold Inc (CVE:REN) said partner Ramelius Resources Ltd has started a follow-up drilling program on its Jupiter project in Nevada.

The current phase 2 follow-up program includes plans for 1,524 m (meters) of RC (reverse circulation) drilling in seven holes, offsetting the mineralization encountered in phase 1, and also drilling structural targets to explore for potential higher-grade feeder structures.

“We are very pleased to have our partner returning for a second round of drilling,” said Robert Felder, the president and chief executive at Renaissance.

“The drill results from 2017 identified significant gold mineralization nearly a kilometre away from previously known gold mineralization on the property.

“This opens up a large, prospective area for discovery on the project and we are very much looking forward to the results of this exciting program.”

Renaissance is a Western -US-focused prospect generator using a joint venture business model.

Shares were unchanged at C$0.20 at the time of writing.
