See that adorable little bundle of joy? That’s my Xander, when he was just a couple of weeks old. The man holding him? Well, obviously that’s not my hubby. However, this man played a HUGE role in my last 2 pregnancies and the births of my little ones. That’s right! He was my OBGYN!

Whether you choose breast or bottle-feeding is an entirely personal choice. Of course everyone knows that breast-feeding has amazing benefits, but not every mother is able to do so exclusively. 

In fact, my babies had problems nursing, so I pumped for a good 6 months with them and then gradually switched to formula. While I wish that nursing would have been more successful, I have peace of mind knowing that they got the benefits of breast milk for several months, followed by a nutritionally complete infant formula.
