Halloween is right around the corner! In my house, this is a HUGE deal. The biggest. Of course the kids love dressing up in their spookiest attire, telling chilling tales about ghosts and ghouls, and watching scary movies. Oh, right. The candy. I can’t forget to mention the candy. 

When I think about Halloween candy, the first thing that comes to mind is always Brach’s Candy Corn. It’s a classic, after all. In fact, according to the National Confectioners’ Association nearly 35 million pounds of candy corn (or 9 billion pieces) is produced each year. Brach’s just happens to sell 80% of that candy corn, too! Probably because it’s made with real honey, so the flavors are out of this world! 

We received a generous assortment of Brach’s Candy Corn in a wide variety of flavors to help us get into the Halloween spirit. (Only a few varieties are pictured above.) 

In addition to the classic Candy Corn everyone knows and loves, Brach’s offers a huge array of special flavors that might just take you by surprise. S’mores, Caramel, Caramel Macchiato, Peanut Butter Cup, and Pumpkin Spice take Candy Corn fun to a whole new delicious place. Of course you can always grab the original, too. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a Candy Corn purist. 

Candy Corn is a very versatile treat. It can be eaten by the handful, used to make awesome seasonal crafts, and it can even be used in baking. 

I’m not going to lie. I’m really not much of a baker. At all. I absolutely love to cook, but since I tend to eyeball everything and never really follow a recipe, I’m not a wonderful baker. Baking is very precise, and well….I guess I’m just not.

​Thankfully, my husband has a sweet tooth, and while he can’t cook proper food, he’s a baking machine. We balance each other out well. 

Dan decided he was going to make some Halloween Candy Corn Cupcakes with Sophie and Xander. They absolutely love helping out in the kitchen!

They made the cupcake batter, and added some candy corn into the mix. Who’d have thought it?! 

One batch had Classic Candy Corn in the batter, and the other batch had S’mores Candy Corn mixed in. 

To top them, we just used some white vanilla icing and some chocolate icing, and topped them off with some additional Brach’s candy. We had Candy Corn Vanilla Cupcakes and decadent chocolate S’mores cupcakes. 

Easy peasy, adorable, and most importantly, delicious. This is a great way to get the kids involved in the kitchen, too!

We’ve had a blast incorporating Brach’s Candy Corn products into our baking, crafts, and more. During the next couple of weeks, I will be using them as a part of our homeschool curriculum, too! We will be using Candy Corn to count, and we’ll also be making some cute Halloween crafts with them. Keep an eye out on Instagram for pics!
