I want to talk about one of my favorite things in life. Something absolutely amazing, that I certainly haven’t gotten enough of since becoming a mother 15 years ago. What am I talking about here? SLEEP! I’m sure all you parents can relate to lack of sleep, right? I joke and say that I haven’t gotten a decent night’s sleep in more than a decade. It may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I definitely don’t get as much rest as I’d like. In my house, nap seems to be a 4-letter word. 

Anyway, getting enough rest is super important. Not only is sleep required to be an alert and productive member of society, it’s also essential for overall wellness. Okay, now that you know all about the great features of the TEMPUR-Contour Side-to-Side pillow, it’s time to talk about comfort. Supreme, total, and complete comfort. 

I got to sleep on this pillow for a whole week before my 5 year old claimed it as her own. See, Sophie is a side-sleeper as well, and her $15 pillow just wasn’t cutting it. I can’t say I blame her for wanting the “special pillow”. 

My experience with this pillow was amazing. It provides wonderful support to the head, neck, and shoulders. This pillow is quite firm, which I like. Since this is memory foam at its finest, this pillow conforms to your body, making it the coziest place to rest your head in the history of the world. Okay, maybe Bruno Mars’ chest is better, but I don’t have access to that! 

I was able to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep longer using this pillow. In addition, I woke up feeling rested, alert, and free of those annoying aches and pains that come with being an adult. 

I should also point out that this pillow includes a soft, removable knit cover that is completely washable. You know, just in case you forget to remove your make-up one night and end up with a multi-colored pillow in the morning! 

As I said, I didn’t get to keep this pillow for very long at all before Sophie claimed it as her own. I made the mistake of letting her use it while we snuggled up to watch MARVEL’S The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

During the whole movie, she couldn’t stop gushing about how comfortable this pillow is, and how she wished SHE could have such a special pillow to sleep on every night. And she gave me puppy-eyes and a little pout.

Who could say no to that?! 

Sophie is really enjoying the pillow of my dreams. She also falls asleep sooner and wakes up ready to start her day. 

This pillow rocks. I miss it terribly. That’s okay, though. I know what I will be buying myself for the Holidays!
